In the dance of fate, our love is but a fleeting dream,
A battle fought in vain, where sorrow reigns supreme.
Once joyful eyes now shed a river of tears,
Strong hearts, in trials, succumb to fears.
Is it a folly to love with all one's might?
To dream of forever in the darkest night?
Is it a mistake to long for your embrace,
In this cruel world, where love finds no place?
Why does destiny play this cruel game?
Are we but pawns in a cosmic flame?
Years of waiting, hopes dashed in the wind,
Love's triumph elusive, a bitter end.
Tears speak of truths we dare not see,
Whispers of a love that cannot be.
Does fate hold the key to hearts entwined?
Or is it a cruel joke, our love confined?
I'll strive and fight, till destiny's decree,
Yet impatience claims what could never be.
Cold hands, lifeless, in the fading light,
A soul departs, lost in the night.
Why did you not wait, my love, my guide?
Why did you leave me, alone, to bide?
Sorrow flows, a river deep and wide,
Love's dream shattered, in the ebbing tide.
But in the next life, if fate allows,
In your arms, I'll find my vows.
No more tears, no more pain,
In eternal love, we'll meet again.
