OLIVIA

Minutes felt like hours standing in the middle of that living room with our friends looking at us. Spencer had still not let go of my arm, giving the situation a lot more drama than it needed.

"Spencer, let go of my arm." I repeated.

He finally did as I asked and I didn't wait another second to pull Christopher away from the living room. I helped him grab his belongings and walked him out to his car.

"I'm really sorry about the way I reacted, Olivia... I didn't mean for it to go this far." He apologized.

Even though I appreciated the apology, I was still a bit thrown off at the whole thing. I had so many questions.

"And I'll answer them if you give me another chance to do so... so please, don't write me off just yet." He pleaded.

I had not realized that I said that part loudly.

"I'm not gonna write you off over an argument with my ex boyfriend. I know you were just trying to protect me, and for that I'm grateful." I admitted.

It had been so long since someone had my back like that. I knew he went overboard, and he obviously knew it too, so I didn't want to pry any more.

"Thank you for being awesome." He replied.

I blushed at how random but sweet his comment was.

"Thank you for acknowledging it... I'll call you tomorrow, okay? Be safe on your way home."

He smiled again but it did not quite reach his eyes, so I knew he felt horribly bad.

"Get in here"

I opened my arms and pulled him closer as I gently hugged him. I felt his arms engulfing me in a tight and heartfelt embrace, almost declaring his feelings.

"I'll wait for your call, Liv... Have a good night."

He got into his car and drove away until I could no longer see it. I drew a breathe in and readied myself to go face the volcano waiting for me inside the house. When I walked back in, people were already getting ready to leave.

I made my way over to what remained of our group and they all looked up as soon as I did.

"I'm really sorry for the way things turned out. He didn't mean anything against you, Sky. He just felt strongly about something, and it got out of hand."

"It's okay. He didn't need to leave though. Now I feel bad for him." Jordan replied.

"Feel bad for him? He almost berated your friend and you feel bad for him? Someone you met two minutes ago?" Sky reacted.

"Babe, let it go."

"No, I won't! He just got here, and look at everything he's already caused." She insisted.

"So what, girl?! You just got here too, and look at where it lead us?!" Patience snapped at her.

"Yo, P, back off!" Coop said, glancing at Patience.

"Or what?!"

Patience stopped cleaning and came in Coop's face.

"That's why you shouldn't stay friends with your ex! They only stick around to be messy." Sky provoked.

"Okay, Sky that's enough." Layla interrupted.

Spencer and Alicia were on the patio having an intense conversation until they heard the commotion inside the house and couldn't help themselves but to come back to the group.
