Olivia slammed the door behind her, not caring about Spencer, who was following her behind. She was hurt but overall pissed.
How could Spencer keep on humiliating her that way, she thought.
"Liv, don't walk away when I'm trying to talk to you!" Spencer called out.
Ignoring him, she paced around the room, fuming at what had just transpired downstairs. Not wanting to create more drama for the group, Olivia decided to retire herself from the game and the situation. It was without counting on Spencer who, equally upset, wanted to have a conversation immediately.
Shutting the door behind him after following her inside, Spencer stood at a safe distance from where she was having her moment.
"Liv, talk to me."
"Oh, just like you talk to me, right? Just like you told me about the doubts you were having?" She fired at him.
Not calming down either, Spencer eyed her in disbelief.
"Olivia, you're the one who always runs away! From everything that involves us!" He spat out.
"But at least I talk at some point, without you having to manipulate me into confiding into you! You don't even have the nerve to tell me you don't want me to be your girlfriend! If you want something casual, Spencer, just say that for God's sake!"
"Why are you so hung up on the titles thing, anyway?!" He asked.
It was the one question Olivia wished he hadn't asked because she was about to unfurl all the anger she had been keeping in at him.
"Spencer, grow a pair and tell me what you truly feel because I'm worth so much more than the humiliation I keep being suggested to, by you!" She exclaimed.
Feeling attacked by her tone and choice of words, Spencer unleashed the beast.
"You've spent this entire time trying to make me trust this and us when at the first sign of trouble, you run to Daddy or Darnell! Speaking of D, you can stop mentioning my name to him when it comes to our relationship because whatever happened between you two that got y'all to be this close has yet to be uncovered."
"Spencer..."
Olivia whispered, disbelief written all over her face. He couldn't have said that, she thought.
"What?! What did you do first when you got here? Picked up the phone to let him know all about what is wrong with us, and even though I kept reassuring you that we were in this together, it only took Darnell to say it once for you to want to see it! Yes, I heard your conversation!" Spencer admitted.
Liv was stunned. So much information came at the same time that she was struggling to find the words again. She remained silent for a long minute, giving Spencer some time to catch his breath.
"Spencer, I'm so sick of this. Having to justify all of my actions to you, to explain why I react the way I do, when your behavior is almost always the reason behind it... You questioning my and Darnell's bond is laughable because you saw me wear your ex's stuff and didn't say a word, you let her presence be noticed in your room after rekindling things with me, and you don't want to claim me as your girlfriend when you were so quick to do so with her."
"Liv, I said I was sorry about her stuff. I took everything out now, so don't drive us back down to a road we've already passed!" Spencer defended.
"You must have forgotten this then!" She pointed at a keychain in the shape of an A, dangling from the bedside table on Spencer's side of the room. "Y'all were together for all of two seconds, but you still had time to make some couples' keychains, and you don't want to be official with me. I don't think you want Alicia, but damn Spencer... I don't think you want me either."
