Running upstairs, Olivia locked Patience's door from the outside to prevent her friend from coming out of it and maybe risking her life.

She tried moving past it as fast as possible so that Christopher didn't see her do so and attracted him towards her bedroom. Quickly getting inside, she locked the door behind her.

Loving what felt like a game to him, Christopher laughed and started pounding at her door while calling out her name. Breathing heavily, Olivia searched for a way to inform her mother— who was on her way home— to call the cops. She was hoping that Noah had taken his phone to the bathroom with him, but she couldn't rely on unverified information for her safety.

Remembering that Spencer's iPad was plugged into her closet that morning, and praying that he had left it there, she ran to it. Her heart got crushed when she couldn't find it.

"Think Olivia, think... Don't listen to his voice. His voice isn't different from any obstacles you encounter in your life, so you can fight it. You've already done it, you can do it again. Fight his voice."

She was trying to numb herself from letting his words get the best of her. She needed to think and to think fast because Christopher's punches were getting more violent by the minute.

She looked at the paper and pen on her desk and quickly wrote down something before sliding it into one pair of her shoes. Opening the window that gave onto the face of the house, she threw her shoe in the driveway before looking around to see if anyone was outside. Considering that it was a school night and that most residents were families with young kids, she didn't expect much.

She still left it open and went to hide in her closet, hoping that Christopher would think she jumped out of it. A minute later, she heard a final pounding sound, then complete silence. Holding a hand over her mouth to keep in her loud breathing, tears started running down her face. She was losing hope.

Meanwhile, Patience hearing all the ruckus and trying her door once immediately understood that something was off. She grabbed her phone and called Mrs. Baker.

"I think he's here right now! I think he has her. I went to take a shower and left her downstairs with Noah, but my door was locked from the outside, and only Olivia knows how to do that! Please, hurry!"

"Patience, I'm outside! I'm just parking right now. Stay where you are, I'm calling 911! Don't make any noise." Laura told her.

She was moving into the driveway but was stopped mid-maneuver by one of Olivia's thrown out shoe. Just as she was about to check what was inside, Patience called.

"Mrs. Baker, a unit is on its way. Please, do not go inside or do anything. Stand by, they will be there soon." The police officer told her.

"I'm not going to stand here and let my daughter get killed under my roof! I'm going in!" She replied.

"Mrs. Baker, please stand by! The unit is not far anymore!" The officer insisted.

Laura was already tying up her hair in a low bun and taking her heels off. After grabbing the baseball bat she had in her trunk, she proceeded to walk into the house. She carefully moved around the living area, looking for signs of her daughter when screams came from upstairs.
