Author's note:

Hey guys... Okay, I'm still trying to process last Monday's episode but I think most of us are. For those who haven't watched it yet, stop right here because you're going to get spoiled if you continue reading this, so just skip to Olivia's POV.

Let's be honest, what happened was so out of the blue and is still quite shocking. I'm not going to go into details about what I think will happen to the show's characters after Billy's passing because we all know (and seen in the preview) the chaos it's obviously going to cause. I personally think it was done in a very natural way, just like it happens sometimes in life. It just made me appreciate this whole season a lot more and realize that there were signs.
Signs in the people he met, the conversations he had, hell even in the way he processed difficult situations this season. I realized how overly focused I was on Spelivia and not enough on the moments between Billy and other characters, especially Liv this season. I'm thankful to the writers for the birthday episode, the scenes between Jordan and him, the way they showcased his beautiful, beautiful relationship with Laura. I would have loved for him to be there to see Spencer, Jordan, Olivia and all the people he inspired succeed, but that's okay. I'm really going to miss Taye on the show and Billy in the story.

I was already planning on posting this chapter to celebrate Vday but I was a bit in my feelings still, so here it is, a day later 😅

Sending everyone a lot of love!

OLIVIA

I was trying to figure out when Spencer made that 360 in his mind and decided that he wanted me back. It was very confusing, considering the way he was cozying it up to Alicia like I wasn't even there to begin with.

I tried containing all those feelings inside because I could tell he really took it upon himself to be honest with me, in front of Simone.

"I know this face. What are you thinking about now?" He hesitantly asked me.

"Spencer, it's just... a bit confusing, to be honest."

"I know, but whatever I did, it was my attempt at moving on. Which failed miserably."

"There's nothing wrong with trying to move on, when you think that's the only way for you and the other person to be happy again." Simone chimed in.

"I know what you mean... I just-" I said.

"Liv, you don't have to answer right away. Take some time to think about it, it's your birthday after all." Spencer told me.

He exhaled sharply and nodded his head before leaving Simone and I alone.

"See? It wasn't that bad!" She said.

"No, it's worse! What do I do about Noah?"

"What do you mean? Has it become that serious already?!" Simone questioned, sounding shocked.

"No, that's not what I mean! I mean, how do I tell him that nothing is going to happen between us after kissing him?"

Simone's eyes grew wide in realization.

"You kissed him?!" She almost shouted.

"Shhhh! Not so loud!"

I threw my hand at her lips, trying to prevent her from shouting my private business out for everyone to hear.

"To be honest, I'm not surprised. Spencer and you have been wildin' out in these streets lately."

"Ew, no! Anyways, don't tell anyone and help me figure out how to break it to Noah."
