Author's note:

Hey everyone! I feel like I need to say this because I've been seeing some comments/reactions under the two previous chapters that I don't quite understand.
First of all, my story is not and will never be about picking sides between Spencer or Olivia. The storyline goes at a realistic (as much as possible, at least) pace, so for some chapters you might feel like one character takes more space than the other; which is NORMAL.

I love how invested everyone is in the story but I'd just like to remind you that it's merely based on my imagination. It won't always take the same route as the show, so that's that!

Thank you again for loving it as much as you do! I hope you will enjoy this new chapter!

OLIVIA

"Can you believe it?! Jordan will absolutely pay for this!"

"Okay, but don't be too hard on him, please?"

I shot daggers at Layla thinking she was even slightly funny. She clearly did not understand that it was not the time for jokes.

"Sorry..." She said.

"Okay Liv, calm down... We've had enough drama to last us a year. Yesterday was chaotic!" Patience commented.

"And who's fault was that?" I asked.

"Your two boyfriends, of course!" She shot back at me.

Layla and Patience laughed at another joke I obviously did not find funny.

"Girls, this is serious! I'm trying to understand why Spencer is acting like a complete douche around me!"

"It's so clear to everyone else that it hurts to have to explain it to you. He's still in love with you, Olivia!" Patience said.

"Don't be ridiculous! He made it clear with his words and actions that that was not the case. He just wants me to stay attached and feel like I need him. His savior complex is getting out of hand."

"Whatever, Olivia! How's Christopher doing?" Layla asked me.

For the first time since that morning, I finally let out a breathe that I didn't even know I was holding. Hearing Christopher's name made me happy.

It was a nice change of pace.

"We're supposed to have dinner together tomorrow night... I'm excited."

I smiled to myself, anticipating the date.

"Why not tonight?" Patience asked.

Patience was definitely on Christopher's team, if there ever were teams to begin with.

"Well, I sort of have an interview later today. They invited me to speak about my podcast and activism on a local channel. Nothing too big."

The girls stopped what they were doing to look at me with perplexed expressions.

"What?! Why didn't you tell us?"

Patience asked as she playfully pushed me onto my bed. I laughed and sat down on my bed to face them.

"I just didn't think it was a big deal, plus everyone's so busy right now. I didn't want anyone to feel pressured about coming to support me."

"Well, Patience and I are definitely going with you today! You should tell Jordan too!" Layla suggested.
