Author's Note:
Hey everyone!
I'm so sorry for the delay! I'm currently on vacation and traveling around France, honestly having the best time. It's hard to find time to write and publish.
But here is the first of the five last chapters to close up this book, just like you've requested.
I've already started working on the sequel, but a book of Spelivia/Lezra one shots will probably see the light before I publish that one.Enjoy!

OLIVIA
I walked around school with my head hanging low, just like it had been for the past four weeks, since revealing our engagement to our close friends and family.
Instead of having my mind in the clouds, dreaming about my perfect wedding ceremony, it was filled with concerns and doubts about the whole thing, just because of a simple conversation with my mother.
Flashback
"Oh my God, what did I do to deserve this?"
"Mom... I think that's a bit much. It's Spencer we're talking about." I reacted.
Her response to my engagement was everything but supportive — which surprised me, considering that she has always been the biggest Spelivia fan.
"Yes, and if you're really meant to be, you'll have your entire life to prove it. You don't need to rush into anything as of now."
"Mom, we're just engaged! We're not going to elope somewhere in the world and come back married! We have time!" I replied.
"What are your plans?" She asked, standing close to the kitchen counter and staring at me.
"Well, we haven't discussed the details yet, but we want to wait at least a year to-"
"Olivia, I was asking about your plans. See what you just did? You've already started thinking for the both of you, instead of yourself."
All right, she had a point, but it was nothing new.
"What about the Paper? Journalism School? Your trip to Europe next semester? Are you going to adjust everything now that Spencer got on one knee and asked you for your hand?"
Even though I knew it was coming from a place of motherly concern, I did not appreciate her cynical tone towards my relationship. I was still figuring it all out, which was already hard enough to have external thoughts and opinions added to cloud my mind.
"He didn't get on any knee." I said, more so to myself. "Mom, I appreciate your concern but don't worry, none of my plans have changed."
"Have you told Spencer yet? About your trip to Europe?" She questioned.
I stayed silent, admitting to her inner thoughts.
"I will tell him soon enough."
"Olivia... I need you to focus on you more than ever now. Your dad and I put so much effort into raising Jordan and you to be independent individuals. I don't want you to lose yourself in a relationship so soon in your life."
She walked over and hugged me before heading out, leaving me with my thoughts.
