Moo Shu to go -1 

when we reached the institute I went straight to sleep, I was too upset about Clary risking my life all because of something I couldn't help. when I woke up it was too someone knocking on my door, I opened the door to find Alec standing there. "How are you feeling?" he asks as I let him in and shut the door behind him.

"I'm not sure to be honest." I say as I go into my closet to get changed. "I mean, I can understand how Clary feels but I can't help it." I get dressed in a white off the shoulder romper with a detachable skirt that had a brown belt with pink flowers on. I put on white heeled ankle boots with my usual white gloves. "I mean, when the demon had me she didn't even bother to help." I say sadly as I walk out and find Alec on the bed, I smile and sit down beside him. "Do you think she hates me?" i ask as i lay my head on his shoulder as he wraps his arm around my waist.

"No, I'm sure she was just thinking irrationally and is actually sorry for how she reacted." I nod but don't say anything. "Come on, lets go see Jace." I nod again as Alec stands up and grabs my hand leading us both to the door. however when we reach the door I jump on his back and wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. Alec doesn't say anything and just walks across the hall to Jace's room.

"He said my name, he said your mother for the cup." I hear Clary say and I freeze on Alec back thinking of my sister being in my soulmates room.

"Who said that?" Alec asks as Jace and Clary both turn around. Clary completely ignores the fact that I am even there as she responds.

"Valentine." Jace and Clary respond in sync. "He's with my mother." Clary continues.

"Our mother." I correct only for her to ignore me.

Alec runs his hand along my leg soothingly before he speaks. "And he can speak to you from that necklace. Here in the institute."

"Its like when I saw dot." Clary responds.

"Its a portal shard, that's why your mother made sure you had it." Jace says and i Jump down off of Alec to get a better look.

"All I know is what i saw. my mothers alive, she's unconscious but alive." Clary responds as I walk over to Jace.

"Where are they?" Alec asks.

"I dont know." Is Clary's only response.

"You said you saw them. were there any identifiable characteristics, equipment weapons photos." Alec asks trying to find a way to figure out where they might be.

"I dont remember it was awful." I stop listening to their conversation as i reach out and gently touch the necklace.

within seconds I am no longer standing in Jace's room and am instead in a warehouse. I look around before my eyes land on my mum floating in a strange bubble. "Mum." I cry out and I run over and kneel beside her. "I miss you mum."

"Ah, Adelina, the best of my children." My eyes snap open at the sound of a mans voice and i stand up.

"Valentine." I breath out.

"Is that any way to talk to your father?" He asks as he walks around me to stand on mum's other side. "You know this is the same thing a warlock did to you when you were young, that's why you are younger than you should be. Jocelyn obviously only got the warlock to heal you when she thought I was dead. I'm not just after the cup, I want my daughter back too. I lost your twin brother a long time ago and I am only Carissa's father by blood but you my dear, you are my daughter."

"No no, you're a mass murderer who wants to take over the shadow-world while I am meant to unite it." I say as my eyes scan the room for anything noticeable. I quickly realize that there are no other people around, well except the dead bodies, and its just the three of us which confuses me but my eyes snap back to Valentine when he speaks. "And me and Clary don't know where the cup is anyway."
