Those of demon blood -4 

I don't listen to what any of them have to say and instead just storm out. I go straight to the house I am working on and get some decorating done. I don't trust myself near anyone right now. 

I manage to get everything close to finished before I finally look at my phone. I see several messages from Jace apologizing and saying he let Simon and Maya out after Imogen left and that he had given control back to Alec. I have some texts from my other mates all saying they heard what happened and asking if I was okay. I also have a text from Simon asking if I was going to his gig tonight at the hunters moon making me smile and respond back with an enthusiastic reply. I am also told by Izzy that she caught the one responsible for the attacks making me relieved. 

I order some food to be delivered and decide to just stay here until the gig. I have pizza and touch up my hair before heading off the the hunters moon. I find Simon and Clary talking outside of the hunters moon and I quickly go up to them. "Simon." I call out as I wrap my arms around him in a hug. 

"Lina, oh thank god you are okay." he responds quickly. I see Clary leave us and smile. 

"you seem nervous." I say as I pull away slightly. 

"is it that obvious?" He asks and I smile at him. 

"Not really, but if you want I'm always here to take the edge off." I say tilting my neck slightly to the side. 

"Are you sure, I know that Vampire venom can be addictive." Simon says and I smile. 

"Not for me, for me its just a part of the mating bond." I sat as I lean into him further. Simon brings his head down and slowly kisses across my neck before sinking his fangs in making my knees buckle. I feel Simon drink some before stopping and just letting us enjoy the moment of being connected. Eventually Simon pulls away. "well, lets go watch you kill it." I say happily as I grab his hand and drag him into the very packed space. 

"Hey what's going on? are you giving away free alcohol?" Simon asks Maya. 

"turns out some vampires got wind of a singer they're really into."  She explains. 

"See your vampire friends know a good thing when they see it." Clary says as she comes over. 

"Something tells me it's not all bout the music." Simon says and I smile and kiss his cheek. 

"Go," I say as I push him towards the stage. "I'm not letting you out of this." With that Simon walks up onstage and Maya hands me a drink with a wink. 

As Simon gets on stage several people gasp. "Hi, were Rock Sol- I'm Simon Lewis. Thankyou all for coming um, this is for the downworld." Simon says and I smile at him as some lets out a whistle from somewhere in the back as other's cheer. 

I listen to Simon perform in amazement and enjoy the rest of the evening.
