"What the hell is that?" I shout causing Jace and Simon to rush over to us. 

"What is it, what?" Simon asks only to freeze. "What is that?" 

"I don't know." I look from Clary's arm to my mates and then back. 

"Magnus, we need to go to Magnus." I say and Jace nods and the three of us (As Simon can't go outside due to the sun) quickly rush to Magnus's. 

"When we arrive we don't knock and instead rush straight in. "Don't you people have phones?" Magnus asks. 

"We need your help." Jace says as Clary shows Magnus her hand. 

"Come sit." Magnus says to Clary before using magic on her hand. "A cher bulay."

"I'm guessing that's not a type of dessert." Clary replies. 

"It means burnt flesh, its an old blood oath spell." Magnus points out and my eyes flick up to meet his in panic. 

"Then it must be Iris." I nod along with Alec's statement worried for my sister. "She said you owed her a favor." 

"Madsie, at the party she said I had to find Madsie." 

"Then we better start looking, I can get rid of the pain but that's about it." Magnus says and I wrap an arm around him in a semi hug. "I'm afraid once the magic reaches your heart." Magnus cuts himself off as we all know the answer to that statement causing me to wrap both my arms around my warlock mate. 

"So if I don't find Madsie, I'm dead." Clary says quietly. 

"NO." I exclaim refusing to allow my sister to die. "No." This time I say it quieter. "There has to be a cure, there has to be some way to stop this." I say looking at all of the people in the room. 

"We can force Iris to undo it." Alec suggests. 

"I'm afraid its not that easy, a blood oath's spell is completely binding. Even Iris herself can't reverse it now." Magnus explains. "Your only chance is to find Madsie." 

"We can ask the pack for help." Jace says and he helps Clary up. 

"I'm going back to the institute, there's something I need to try." With that I release Magnus and quickly walk away from the apartment. I keep walking until I reach an empty alley. I quickly coat myself in energy and use it to lift myself up into the clouds. 

When I reach the white balls of fluff in the sky I sit down and look down at the city. I know I can trust Jace and the others to find Madsie and protect Clary while I figure out just what it is I can do. The more I know about my abilities the better I will be able to protect myself and others. 

I decide to start with the ones I know and see how far I can push them. I start with letting out my wings and stretch them out and find they have an incredible span and I could fit two humans going from tip to tip. I smile as I pull them back and with a great force push them forwards while dropping the energy around me and I go flying. 

within a few seconds and a singular use of my wings and I have managed to travel over a mile. I come to a halt with my wings moving slightly to keep me up and am fascinated, despite my beliefs I can actually move faster with my wings than energy, they are just harder to control. 

I decide to improve this an spend around an hour practicing with my wings until I can control them perfectly and am now able to weave in-between buildings and such. I find it exhilarating and freeing as I wrap my wings around me and dive towards the ground before letting them out and gliding across the seat. I run my fingers through the water and smile at my reflection. 

I feel energy move inside of me and watch as the water before me rises and swirls around me and I watch in amazement as Dolphins emerge from the water around me. "Hello." I hear a feminine voice say and turn towards it only to be looking right at one of the dolphins confused. The slight tingle on my right wrist tells me that this actually part of Ithuriel's blessing. 

"Hi." I say in return testing it out. "Can you understand me?" I ask the beautiful creature.

"We all can." A younger voice says and I find a smaller dolphin at the females side. "You're very pretty." 

"thanks." I say. for the next hour I communicate with the animals around me and practice manipulating the water. I find I can not only change its form I can solidify or evaporate it. I also quickly find that I can manipulate the other three core elements: fire, earth and air. When I felt I had had enough practice I say goodbye to my new friends and fly back towards the city. 

I go back to the clouds before searching for an open area devoid of human life. when I find what I am looking for I quickly land and double check before I start summoning all of the creatures that lined my body. I find I am able to summon each of them fairly easily and they all seem to know what I want before I know its what I want them to do. I find however, that I can't communicate with them, probably due to the fact that they are all just drawings I bring to life so are a part of me. I find that I can't keep all of them alive at the same time for too long though but its fine. 

I do a little bit of practice on creating runes and decorate my body in them and ones that should be added, if we are going to war I need to be strong. Once I am done I look at the mark from Ithuriel on my bicep and stroke my fingers across it gently only to feel a jolt of energy and my body shifting. 

When it stops I find I am shorter than before. The butterflies quickly come Infront of me and show me how I look. instead of my usual red and white hair with silver eyes I am met with a red fox instead. I move my body and the fox does the same. I run from one end of the field I was in and back in amazement. 

I practice my new found shifting ability for a long time before coming to my senses once again. I change back into human form and fly up to the clouds. I summon my usual staff and start searching the streets for any sing of anyone I know only to be frozen in shock. 

Running through the streets are downworlders that I recognize from Valentines zoo. I quickly fly down and kill any that I see, putting them out of the misery they have been living through. I continue continue until I find Jace, Luke and Simon and shout their names. "Adelina, where have you been, Alec said you weren't at the institute." Jace says as he quickly rushes over. 

"I was training what have I missed?" I ask. 

"Clary's blood oath was fulfilled but now Valentine has her, but he is going to show us how to find her." Jace says pointing his blade at the vampire bellow Simon who forces said vampire up and he begins to show us the way. 

we arrive at an abandoned circus building. I split off from the others to search for Clary. When I hear Simon shout "Clary run." I run over in the direction of his voice only to be too late as Valentine drags him into a portal.
