Dust and shadow

When I wake up I am back in my room someone has changed me into Pajama's and I am just praying that it was Izzy cause I don't know how I'd feel about one of the guys changing me. I don't bother to check what time it is so instead I just curl up into a ball and cry my eyes out, I end up crying myself to sleep and when I do wake up the sun is just beginning to wake up and I am starving. 

As if summoned there is a knock at the door and I raise myself into a sitting position and say a quick, "Come in." to whoever was behind the door. I smile warmly when Jace comes in with a tray of food. "hey, glad to see you out of the city of bones." I say with a small smirk. 

"How are you feeling?" He asks and I sigh. 

"Hungry." I respond and Jace chuckles and comes and sits beside me and passes me the tray with pancakes, bacon, maple syrup, hash browns and some fruit with a glass of orange juice. "thank-you." Jace doesn't say anything and I start eating in the silence. "is there anything to do today?" 

"you can do whatever you need to love." Jace says. "Simon is with Clary if you want to see them and Magnus, Leo and Raphael said they are just a call away if you need them." He continues and I wonder about Alec but I have a feeling it is not the right time to ask. 

"I think I'm gonna have a nice bath and then go work on something private." I say and Jace just smiles and nods. 

"Okay then, I'm just a call away." I smile and Jace grabs my empty tray and walks out of the room. I sigh and get out of the bed and run myself a bath. While the bath is running I get my laptop out and organize for the windows to be fitted for the new home. 

I then shut the laptop and add scented oils and bath salts to the bath and then put on a face mask putting on music and then finally getting undressed and relax in my bath. I stay in the bath for awhile before letting out a sigh and getting out. 

I dry off and get dressed in a short romper with a black top with straps in diamond shapes around the neck along with pink and white flowers on black bottoms with a black belt with a gold crescent moon as the buckle. I put on high black boots with my usual black gloves and leather jacket. 

I grab my bag and then walk through the institute to where the bodies are kept. I don't go in but  I do just stand there for about five minutes. Before I quickly turn and leave. I cover myself in energy and float through the streets to the house. When I am close to the house I stop and make myself visible and go to a cash machine to get out the cash needed for the work I am paying then to do. 

I also buy some chocolate a fizzy drink and a hot chocolate before continuing my walk to the house. When I get there the company is already there and I let them in and they started. Surprisingly they manage to finish the whole house by lunch time so I give them a big tip before sending them on their way. 

I decide that with the extra time I didn't expect I go to my usual nail salon and get burgundy nails with marble gold on my middle and ring finger. I am about to head back to the institute when I get a text from Raphael. 

Mi Amore, Simon is out of blood and needs a delivery to his house, If you aren't busy could you help? I hard what happened to your mother so wasn't going to bother you if I can help it.

I read the text and don't bother sending a reply as I use energy to send myself flying to the hotel du mort, hidden from prying eyes of course, and straight inside and to the main room. "I'm here." I announce shocking everyone in the room. 

"Mi Amore, how did you get here so fast? are you okay?" Raphael asks and I nod. 

"Yes, and I flew. do you have the blood for Simon?" I ask worriedly knowing he must be freaking out right now.
