When we get to the institute Alec goes to tell the high inquisitor about Azazael while I go to my room and change into black leggings, a vest top and some trainers before heading to the training room, only to run into Jace, Clary and Inquisitor Herondale. "Hello." I say as I give Jace a hug before nodding to Imogen.

"ah, miss Fairchild, it is an honor to meet you." Imogen says before holding out her hand. I shake her hand before quickly stepping back to Jace's side. "we were just about to watch Jace and Clary train to see what they could accomplish with their pure angel blood abilities, would you do the pleasure of joining us?"

"Sure, I was just on my way to train some more myself." I say happily.

"Great." With that we start walking to the courtyard together. "How was Magnus?" Jace asks me and I smile but quickly frown.

"I don't know, he was acting weird and I think something is up with him, but I am probably just overthinking it." I admit before shaking my head.

"I'm sure he's just a bit shaken from the demon attack." Jace reasons.

"yeah, probably." We then arrive at the courtyard making me smile. "Wanna spar with me?" I ask questioningly.

"Always." He replies and I conjure us two normal blades. "No extra abilities, you're way too overpowered." I laugh but nod.

We stare for a few moments before I step forwards and go to attack Jace who quickly defends. I continue go on the offence as Jace stays on the defense. "Do you think if she ever smiled her face would crack?" Jace asks me once we pause and I have to stifle a laugh.

"Don't be so hard on her, it can't be easy being a Herondale." I say in defense of the older woman.

I then go back to attacking Jace as he defends, our blades causing a ringing through the courtyard. "yeah, it must be hard being shadowhunter royalty, all that power prestige." Jace responds.

"From what I hear, she was very warm before her son died." I explain.

"Oh I have no doubt." Jace retorts causing me to smile and step back just as he activates one of his runes without his stele causing me to smile as he flips over and lands beside me just as Imogen goes over to Clary and tries to get her to use her rune's.

"so you've created new rune's in the past and now suddenly they don't work anymore." Imogen says causing annoyance to flare in me.

"Are you accusing her of lying?" I ask annoyed.

"she is Valentine's daughter." She points out.

"And so am I, were done for today." With that I grab Jace's hand and walk to the training room inside. "Keep training with me?" I ask and Jace nods. After awhile we split apart and I return to my room and get changed into a black playsuit with flowers on the shorts and before grabbing my phone and find a text from Magnus asking me to come over.

I quickly grab my back and put on knee high black boots. before walking out the institute and to Magnus's place. I walk straight in when I arrive and find Magnus sitting on the sofa having a drink and I smile as I walk over.

"hello Adelina, I wanted to apologize for how I was acting earlier." He says as he holds out a drink.

"You're forgiven." I say taking the drink with a weary look wondering why he still acting strange. I take a sip of my drink before truly looking at him and pausing, my drink falling from my hands. "You're not Magnus, Magnus always calls me kitten." I say and go to attack him only to find my body overtaken by exhaustion. "Why am I so-?" I ask before falling unconscious.

I wake up the sound of fighting and see Magnus and Valentine fighting. I allow my body to take over as I get up and sprint across the room and straight into Valentine and through the open portal into the cells in the institute where he is taken by guards. "You've taken the wrong side Adelina, and one day you'll understand." I ignore him and walk out and use energy to fly to Magnus' place.

As soon as I arrive I throw open the door and throw myself at Magnus and wrap my arms around him tightly. "I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was you quicker, please forgive me Magnus, please let me be there for you." I say quickly.

"It's okay kitten." Magnus says as he wraps his own arms around me tightly. "I will be fine." Magnus says but I can tell it's all a lie.

"I am here for you Magnus, for whatever you need okay?" I ask and he smiles at me.

"I think I might just sleep better with you beside me." He responds and I smile slightly.

"I love you Magnus and I promise I won't let someone do something like this to you again." I swear it as I wrap my wings around the two of us.

"Let's just go to sleep. Oh and we found out that Jace is actually a Herondale."" Magnus points out before using Magic to give me, Magnus and Alec Pajamas before the three of us climb into Magnus's bed. I decide not to question it as I was tired. "I love you kitten, you too Alec."

"I love you both as well." Alec says. I instead sit up and turn to face them and kiss them both on the lips.

"Well I love you both more." I say with a smirk.

"Not possible." They both say in sync. "Come on kitten, it's been a long day lets just sleep." I nod and lay down with my head on Magnus' chest and my arm around him as Alec spoons me and has his arm thrown over both of us. I quickly drift off into a peaceful sleep.
