Major Arcana -2

I wake up Alec is awake and looking at me with a slight smile. "Morning." he says with a smile. 

"Morning." I mumble before sitting up and stretching before turning to Alec and smiling. "I should go get showered and dressed." I say before pecking his cheek and getting off the bed. I turn and smile at Alec at the door before going to my room where I do in-fact shower and get dressed in a white thin trap sweetheart neckline high low dress that had a mesh covering with flowers embroidered all in white. it had a cross over strap over the back and low off the shoulder bits that were just above the elbow. I put on my usual gloves and jewelry with white boots. I also braid my hair on top of my head back in a French plait before tying it off in a high bun with the rest down in loose curls around me. 

I put my stele through my bun and have an idea. I close my eyes and focus on the energy in my body and make the flowers from my drawing become physical things and I weave them through the plait and my bun. Deciding to see if it has to be drawings done on my arm I grab my notebook and flips it to a page with just a single flower on it. I put my fingers on the drawing and push energy into it and seconds later I am holding a glass rose in my hand with another still on the paper making me shocked- I guess its not like what Clary can do. 

I smile to myself happy to have something that is just me as I feel more energy stir up inside of me. I feel the need to let it out and slowly I release the hold I had wrapped around it at some point and I watch in amazement as things start moving all around me. Okay so lets think about what I can do, I can summon weapons from the marks on my hands, summon creatures from the ones on my legs, bring my drawings to life and manipulate energy. what's next I'm going to sprout wings from the wing shaped mark on my back. I pause and shake my head, that was extremally unlikely, only angels have wings. 

I am cut out of my thoughts by a knock at my door and everything slowly falls back into place. "Come in." I say only to realize it's Alec making me smile. 

"Jace called for back-up." he says and I nod and grab my backpack before holding his hand as we walk to the main entrance where we meet Izzy before walking to the police station. we find Jace and Clary walking out of the building when we arrive. 

"Someone call for back-up?" Izzy asks. 

"Yeah, what took you guys so long?" Jace asks in response. 

"Funny, I was gonna ask you the same thing." Alec points out and I just sigh. 

"It's complicated." Jace responds as he wraps an arm around my waist and I lean back into him. 

"We found the cup." Clary announces. 

"The cup?" Izzy questions. 

"yeah but then we lost it, we have to sneak back in the precinct to get it." Clary explains. 

"Well this is a disaster." Alec says annoyed and I slap his arm gently. 

"No, demon pox is a disaster, this is an inconvenience, we just need a plan, that's all." Jace retorts. 

"What about a glamor?" Izzy asks. 

"We tried that, anyone working with Valentine would see right through it." Jace responds. 

"Can we ask Magnus bane to portal us inside?" I am already shaking my head by the time she has finished speaking, that's not how portals work. 

"Magnus can only portal us to places he's been to before." Izzy says just as Clary's phone rings and she answers it. focusing on Simon's emotions through my drawing I feel his panic and uncertainty and become worried about him just before Jace goes over his plan.
