A Mate's Betrayal

Part 37

The moment Killian said 'Never', I knew there was no stopping Ryker. I shook my head hoping he'll notice me but he didn't, in a blink of an eye Killian was slammed into the wall struggling to breathe.

"Ryker please", I begged making his head snap to where I was standing. He roared and then released, Killian. "Stay away from us! If I hear another hunter attack, I will come for you. Not even my mate will save you", Ryker told Killian who was coughing so hard trying to regain his breath.

I walked up to Ryker and interlocked our fingers ready to go home but we were stopped by an evil laugh. When we turned to look at Killian, we found him injecting himself with the serum.

"You've got to be kidding me", Ryker said just when a fist met with his face sending him flying out of the office and breaking the door along the way. I screamed when he started walking towards me. I was cornered and he looked angry. 

He held me by the throat and started squeezing. I tried to pull his hand away but failed. Something kicked him away from me and when I looked up I saw a silver Lycan fighting with Killian. It was Spike, he looked out of control. Killian kept scratching him and I watched Spike whimper but the wounds disappeared in seconds. I tried to stand but I couldn't, the pain was too much. I looked down and saw a piece of wood sticking out of my abdomen. Spike whimpered again and I thought he was hurt but when I turned I found him looking at me. 

He had pain in his eyes but then they turned ruby red and steam came out of his nose as he turned his attention to Killian's weak body. Killian raised his hand as if telling him to stay back but Spike walked closer. He put his foot on Killian's face. I looked away knowing that I couldn't bare to watch it. I heard a sound of a skull cracking and then silence.

"Oh, goddess! She's hurt, we need to get her out of here. The place is gonna blow!", Chase shouted and someone carried me as I surrendered to the darkness.

I started hearing voices but couldn't wake up. "Thanks for helping me. I know you did it for her but thanks anyways", "It's all good. It was an honour fighting alongside the Captain... Just promise to take care of her". "I promise". "If you guys are done with your bromance I would like to check on my patient", "Yes ma'am". "Come back to us, Erinna", was the last thing I heard before falling into the darkness again.

I jolted awake, panting like crazy.

I found myself on a hospital bed with Ryker sleeping at an awkward angle on the couch that was in the room. He looked very tired.

"Ryker?", I called making him fall off the couch. "Fuck!... Rina? Shit let me call Cleo", he said standing up. He rushed out of the room before I could say anything, he came back with her, both panting.

Cleo pulled me in a hug then started doing her thing. My eyes remained on Ryker. I gave him my hand and he walked closer and took it in his. "You scared the crap out of us", he said with a weak smile.

"I'm sorry", I said smiling back. "There's nothing to be sorry about. It wasn't your fault", he said kissing my temple, making my body wake up from the sparks I felt. "Ryker's right Erinna. Because of you, they were able to rescue hundreds of our kind who were being used as guinea pigs. You're our hero", Cleo said then walked out of the room.

I turned to Ryker my eyes falling on his lips. I licked my own and he growled. He pulled me up and stood between my legs, my hands circled his amazing neck and pulled him to my lips. He licked them like he was tasting the waters then smashed his lips on mine, deepening the kiss every second he got until I started moaning. His hands entered my hospital gown and started exploring my body. His lips moved from my lips to my neck. I felt the gown being pulled away from me leaving me bare in front of him. 

"I missed you", he said as he sucked my exposed breasts. One nipple at a time, making me hold on tighter to his hair. He pulled back and then removed his combat trousers and boxers.

His member was hard and veiny, making me swallow hard. He kissed me the same time he pushed himself in me and the stretch made me moan into the kiss and hold on to his shoulders harder and harder as he increased the pace. I was about to reach my high when he pulled back and dug his canines into my markless neck.

The more I enjoyed my high the more he sucked my blood creating a rhythm that was out of this world. I screamed his name making him reach his high too. His warm semen coated me in pulses making me smile as our eyes met.

"That's a lot of pups", I whispered making him smirk. "How did you know it was me?", Spike's deep voice asked. "I just did", I replied with a wink pulling his lips to mine one more time. He pulled back and removed the rest of his clothes then got on the bed with me.

I placed my head on his chest running my fingers through his tattoos. "This feels surreal", I said earning a kiss on top of my head. "You better believe it... I've never been so scared of losing someone my whole life", he confessed making me kiss his chest.

"I never thought I would ever get a happy ending until I met you so, I think we're even on that front", I said making him pull back to look into my eyes. "I'm your happy ending huh?", he said playfully making me nod in agreement. "I love you Rina", he whispered as he fell asleep. I kissed his nose and hugged him tighter.

"Goddess! it smells like sex in here", Cleo said as she walked into the private ward. "You mean it smells like them right?", the second voice got to me and I jolt awake to find the Gamma looking at me with shock.

"You! Y-y-you're the one they rescued? The P-p-prince's mate?", he asked trembling like he was about to lose his mind. "Yes Gamma... things didn't go according to plan huh?", I asked sarcastically feeling anger building inside me that was clearly not mine.
