I moaned in my sleep as I felt a warm tongue licking my neck, when I opened my eyes, it was still night hours and I was sleeping on my side with a hand caressing my boob. My hand went straight to the back of Ryker's neck, pulling him closer to where I wanted him.

He groaned but did as I wanted. I felt his member slipping in me from behind making me moan in pleasure. "We're going to mark you now Little one, hold still", he whispered as if talking to a child. "I'm ready", I said feeling him twitch inside of me. He started thrusting faster and before I could reach my high his canines punctured my neck; I bit my lower lip urging myself not to scream because I knew he would never hurt me.

I remembered the lady from the kitchen saying the pain would last a few minutes. They were right, except they didn't say it would be the longest few minutes of my life. I felt like I was being burned which made sense because he was part dragon. Then I felt the most awkward thing like, he was sucking my blood and then I remembered Renzo. He started thrusting faster with his canines still in me and it made me feel like I was floating and finally, it hit me. The most powerful orgasm I have ever had.

Thank god for his hand on my mouth because I would have shaken the whole castle with my scream. He removed his canines from my neck and licked me until I could not smell the blood anymore. "Fuck! This is the best birthday ever", he whispered before falling asleep with me right behind him.

I woke up feeling so hungry, I looked at Ryker's side of the bed, it was empty. I was about to leave the bed when he walked in with a tray full of yesterday's food in one hand and a coffee cattle in the other.

"Is it me or is everything looking smaller?", he asked and that was when I noticed him. He was like a foot taller and his muscles were more visible, including a longer v-line. His eyes were ruby red. "No... you look different", I said still not able to overcome my shock. His stomach growled.

"Let's eat, I'm so hungry I was shaking when warming up the food, we'll go see Abe after, maybe he will know what's happening to me", he said setting things on the bed. I sat trying to pull the sheets so that I could cover myself with them. Then I remembered the mark, I rushed out of bed and into the closet.

I ran the tips of my fingers all over it lightly, it was the most beautiful mark I had ever seen. It was dominated by a piece of silver reptile skin then four sharp points resembling fangs with a wolf right in the middle. The reptile skin felt weird and ticklish. 

"You like it?", he asked from the door. I smiled when our eyes met. "Yes, it's so beautiful, I can't wait to show it off", I said making him chuckle. "Come, let's eat", he said and when I walked slowly, he carried me by the waist with one hand, I guess I was too slow.

I watched as he swallowed plates like they were just snacks until all that was left was a pile of empty plates and a slice of cake. "You're eating that?", he asked and all I did was shake my head and it was gone.

"Now that's the kind of breakfast I needed", he said relaxing on the bed's headboard. I looked at the plates and I could have sworn there was a two-kilogram chocolate cake, two ribeye steaks with French fries and coleslaw, and buffalo wings and all I ended up with was a bowl of fruits and two pieces of wings with a cup of coffee.

We took a shower and he ended up wearing jogging shorts and sandals because none of his clothes or shoes fit him.

"What happened to you?", Abe asked when we went to the throne room hoping that he would understand what was happening to Ryker. "We're hoping you could tell us", he said looking bored.

"Congrats on the marking by the way and as for the changes, that's just what she brings to the table", he said returning his attention to the papers Ethal gave him. I looked at Ryker all confused but he seemed to understand. "We're going shopping", he said pulling me out of the throne room.

"What did he mean by that statement", I asked Ryker as I was picking clothes for him. "Well, it has been said that mates are created to make us whole and with that, the moon goddess blesses every supernatural when they accept their mates by giving them gifts, most get extra strength but when it comes to hybrids we get more because we have more than one beast so I guess marking you changed me as well. I wouldn't be surprised if I have more powers", he said asking me to help him with a tie.

"So, are the changes usually good? I mean mates can't harm one another by completing the mating thing, right?", I suddenly felt like laughing which was confusing. "Why do I feel like laughing? This is not funny", I said crunching my nose. "Because it was my feeling, not yours", he said kissing my temple.

"What? I can feel what you feel?", I ask with too much excitement than necessary making him chuckle. "Yes, and you can mind-link me too", he said then winked at me. "That's so cool", I jumped like a kid making the store lady giggle. 

We bought more formal clothes and workout clothes then went to a diner where he ordered six burgers with fries and coke, five burgers being his. He ate in record time making me laugh. "What?", he asked oblivious to the fact that he had ketchup all over his chin. I took a French fry, wiped his chin with it, and then ate it. I swear I had good intentions but he had to make it sexual.

"I want you", he whispered when we got in the car. "Me too", I whispered back making him growl and adjust himself on the seat. I guess his pants got uncomfortable for some reason. When we reached the castle, we found people fighting at the entrance. "Stay in the car", Ryker commanded getting out before I could answer.
