Case where a 5 year old girl gets sexually harassed by her uncle outside the front of his house results are out.

The Jury have deemed Park Jimin, age 23, GUILTY for Park Duri's sexual assault.

Park Jimin has been sentenced to life imprisonment (10 years) with parole*.

*Parole means Jimin can get out of prison earlier with promising behaviour in prison.

A jury member claims that the most convincing evidence towards Jimin's innocence was the claims of his sexual orientation being homosexual which would leave Jimin uninterested in a female body; such as Duri's.

However there is not enough evidence before the crime to convince the jury.

Park Jimin's lawyer spoke with us briefly in the Seoul court car park, saying "Park Jimin is not guilty, I do not stand by the results of the Jury, Park Jimin was just at the wrong place, at the wrong time."

However crime files suggest the defendant is guilty due to the parents of Duri, claiming to walk into Jimin's house, to see their young girl crying as she cried out that "He touched her."

This case has spanned out across multiple weeks with bare minimum evidence gathered.

But every piece of evidence is linked to Park Jimin, whether this is because the crime happened on his property or whether Jimin did commit the crime, he has been found guilty.

We tried to speak to Jimin's family when the results were revealed, only Jimin's brother waved us away and did not want to speak to us.

Jimin's POV

My breathing was very slow.

I could hear the entire court erupt with their comments and opinions of me.

Only I just couldn't believe it.

I knew that there was not a lot of evidence supporting me, however I did not commit this crime and now I am in jail, only with the burden that I was found guilty for sexual harassment towards a 5 year old girl, who's my niece so that would be incest.

My eyes just stared at the judge who'd announced the court of the Jury's decision just moments ago.

I just lost my entire family, all in one go.

But I'm mostly upset about not being able to see Duri.

I will have a restraining order from being in contact with my niece.

I will not get to see her grow up, nor tease her about getting a boyfriend when she gets older.

I'll miss out on seeing her in little fairy dresses and playing hide and go seek with her.

I will miss out on seeing her black pig tails that bob around while we run around my house, and seeing her face light up when we decorate cookies.

I will miss out on everything with her.

A tear dripped down my cheek without me even being aware of my clouding over hazel orbs.

I got escorted out of the room, my hands now shaking as my tummy riddled with butterflies, only these were not nice feeling butterflies; these were ones that made your stomach flip, churn and roll about like a washing machine.
