A year ago, I came back to Mystic Falls to help my family and everything changed.

It was the end of many things.

People died.

Some deserved it but one person in particular didn't deserve his end.

Stefan made a decision to sacrifice himself instead of his brother and now Stefan is gone. Right before Stefan died, he turned Damon human because that was the only way Damon would not stop him. 

"No, aunt Bonnie. I told you, you're saying it wrong! It should work. I did it on my hamster and it worked!" Miracle sassily exclaims as she shows Bonnie the spell she created a few months ago.

"Okay, one more time. Do it with me." Bonnie whispers, both of them hold their hands and close their eyes, chanting the foreign words away. Bonnie had already an idea of what to do to wake Elena up but there was something missing.

An extra powerful element!

I anxiously look at Elena's body, waiting for any kind of sign that the spell is working. Suddenly, I hear Elena gasping for air as she slowly sits up from the bed.

"Here she is." Bonnie smiles as Miracle looks up at Elena with the biggest grin. "I did it. I broke the spell. With a big help."

"How?" Elena questions Bonnie with a worried and confused look.

"It took some time, but I think I've finally figured this witch thing out. We figured it out." Bonnie happily says, glancing back at Miracle and that's when Elena notices her.

"Who is she?"

I walk closer to the three of them, making her head snap in my direction. "Lena, we have some things to catch up on." She stands up from the bed and runs up to me, giving me the tightest hug ever. After a couple of minutes, we pull away and I mention for Miracle to stand by me. "May I present you Miracle, my daughter."

Elena looks at me with a suprised look. "Your daughter? How?"

"It's a long story." I show her my hand with my engagement ring. "This one is shorter."

"Klaus proposed?" Elena chuckles slightly, looking in between the both of us. "She's his daughter, right?" I nod my head before she looks over at Bonnie. "Where is he?" Elena asks and I give a little nod to Bonnie.

"He's with Caroline. Saying goodbye."

Bonnie, Elena, Miracle and I walk to the cemetery where Damon and Caroline are saying their goodbyes to Stefan as if it happened yesterday. I can't believe what he did, I was supposed to see him again, I can't believe one moment he was here and now he's not coming back ever again.

Suddenly, Caroline and Damon walk outside the Salvatore Tomb toward where we are standing and shock takes over their faces as soon as they see Elena standing by our side.

Elena is fast to run into Damon's arms and embrace him ever so tightly and after a few minutes, Elena hugs Caroline and I can hear the two of them speaking as I hear Caroline says, "He got my message."

The three of them walk over to us and I smile at the sight of Damon and Elena, even though he lost his brother I think Elena is going to help him get through this now. We tried but it has been hard and I know she's going to help him and Caroline get through such a loss.

She's a people person.

"Well, I think it's time for me and Mira to go back." I state as I need to get back to Hayley as soon as I can, she needs my help now more than ever.
