I snap my eyes open, looking around the compound not understanding how I got here so fast or what the hell is going on right now. The last thing I remember is walking and feeling a sharp pain on my neck before seeing nothing but darkness.

Who snapped my neck? Actually how did I not have a vison of someone snapping my neck? I get more visions when it's someone trying to do something to me... now that's weird!

I walk through the compound, confused about everything especially about the awful weather outside and the lack of people around since normally it's very lively.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" I hear Nik's voice from the other side of the compound shout, making me speed over to him just to see a very familiar person, standing in front of him.

"Oh, Nik. Always so dramatic." Rebekah says, walking over to him and hugging him.

"Emma." Nik mumbles when his eyes land on me.

"What is going on?" I question, walking over to Rebekah and giving her a small hug, actually happy to see her again since it's been months or maybe a year since the last time I saw her.

All of the sudden, someone drops to the couch and I look over at the person but as soon as I see a naked Kol, I immediately look away from him. "Bloody hell. My least favorite recurring nightmare." He mutters under his breath.

"Go get dressed!" Nik demands and Kol doesn't argue back and vamp speeds away quickly to find something to put on.

"Are we in a Chambre de Chasse?" I question the two of them and they nod at the same time, Rebekah walking over to the liquor cabinet and grabbing a bottle of red wine.

"I was in Corsica, drowning my sorrows about Hayley, and I suddenly dropped." She tries to pour the wine into two glasses but nothing comes out of it, making her roll her eyes at it. "What I wouldn't give to spend just a decade without being dragged into a godforsaken Chambre de Chasse."

"Suppose you were in a board meeting." Nik teases Kol, who enters the room now fully clothed.

"I was waiting for my wife to come home from work. Once again, ripped from complete contentment for... this." Kol mentions to his surrounding before giving Nik and I a pointed look. "Suppose I'll ask the obvious: piss off any witches lately?"

"Actually, my current enemies are a group of hatemongers who see myself, my wife and my daughters as abominations to the vampire race." Nik corrects him.

"The bigoted undead. That's new. They must have a witch-for-hire." Rebekah states and I sigh, looking at everything around us and how it's so detailed.

"A witch that's spent enough time here to replicate every detail." I comment, walking over to the bookshelf and noticing all of the familiar books, especially the ones I read about ten years ago.

"The culprit may be closer to home. A witch who knows the compound well and who doesn't trust you to stay away from Elijah. Someone who would risk everything to save New Orleans from plagues." A voice booms through the compound, suddenly appearing in front of us and when it reaches the door frame I see that it's Freya.

"Vincent." Nik says.

"On the bright side, he'd never harm the girls." She points out and I roll my eyes, knowing he'll do anything else though to protect New Orleans. Like separating us and sending us to different corners of the world. "You, on the other hand, I expect he'll be shipping your bodies to the 3 corners of the world. I'm sure he put Kol here so he wouldn't try to stop him."

"All of our bodies? He isn't here, is he?" Rebekah questions and for a moment I wonder who she's talking about but when he appears beside Freya I see nothing but red.
