Brody's POV

I slowly wake up and my neck hurts. I open my eyes and can't see anything. I try to pick up my arms, but I can't. There tied down to a chair that I'm sitting on. My heart starts pounding and I'm back in that chair with Turner. I whip my head around and I can sort of see shapes in the room. It doesn't look anything like the place in was in so I calm down a little. Where am I?

"What happened?" I hear a familiar voice ask. I turn my head and see Ryder sitting in a chair next to me.

"Ryder? Are you hurt?" I jerk my hands to try to get out, but nothing happens.

"Brody? No, I'm fine are you OK? What happened? Where are we?" She keeps asking me questions that I can't answer.

"Um, I'm not hurt, but I am freaking out. Last time I was tied to a chair things didn't go do well." I say really fast and nervous. I try to move my feet, but the ropes just tighten more. I start to hyperventilate and I'm sweating a lot. The more I move the worse it gets.

"Brody! Brody! Hey, look at me! Were going to be fine. We'll get out somehow. We turned out just fine last time di-" She was interrupted by the door opening. It slammed shut and someone walked over to us.

"Wow! I'm pretty impressed with myself. I got two people at the same time." Someone in front of us starts laughing.

"Vicki?" Ryder asks.

"That's me!" Vicki walks in front of her and grabs her face, "I really did like you, but..." She trails off and shoves Ryder's face in the chair.

"Stop! Don't hurt her!" I scream at her. She slowly turns her head toward me.

"Now, now, you have to wait your turn." She giggles.

"Why?" I hear Ryder quietly ask. Vicki snaps her head back down to look at Ryder.

"Why? You killed my son!" Vicki yells. She slaps Ryder and leans down real close.

"Something you might not know is that I knew what Turner was doing. I helped him! I'm the one who showed him that building." She smiles.

"You're a monster." Ryder spits back at her. Vicki grabs her hair and slams her head back.

"I'm a monster? You shot your best friend!" She says not letting go of her hair.

"Because he was going to kill Brody! I did what I had to do!" Ryder glares back at her. Vicki slaps her across the face again. Blood drips from Ryder's nose and Vicki pulls her hair so hard you could practically hear it ripping out of her scalp. Ryder screams in pain.

"Stop!" I yell. I can't bear to see Ryder get hurt anymore than she already is. Vicki let's go of her hair and walks over to me. She puts her elbow on the arm of my chair and looks like a little kid who was just told they couldn't play with their favorite toy.

"But this is fun." She whines. She droops her head and sighs.

"This is so much fun because I can torture you both at the same time. I can hurt her and you have to watch. This must be really hard for you Brody. First your brother was tortured and murdered. Then you were, but unfortunately you escaped that. Now, you have to watch your girlfriend be tortured and killed, and then finally it will be your turn." She smiles.

"Ho-how do you know about my brother?" I stutter.

"That's all your worried about right now? Well, to answer your question, I know about your brother because I also helped my husband. They never had evidence on me so I got out. I really missed hurting people, so when I found out what Turner was planning to do I immediately wanted in. Of course, he wouldn't let me near you because he didn't want anyone else to have the satisfaction of hurting you " She stands up and walks in a circle around my chair.

"You helped murder my brother?" I ask so quietly I'm surprised she even heard me.

"Yes, I did. It was really fun too. I never knew how much I missed this until now." She slowly walks back to Ryder.

"You were like a mother to me! I trusted you!" Ryder screams. Vicki rolls her eyes.

"Yeah? Well, that was your mistake! I used to think of you as a daughter, but things change." She growls.

"I can't believe I was friends with you and Turner. He was sick and twisted just like his mother and father!" Ryder is fearless. She just keeps saying whatever comes to mind and not caring about the consequences.

"You want to see how sick and twisted I am?" Vicki spins around and walks to a corner of the garage. I can hear her searching for something. She spins around and walks back to us. She pulls out a knife and looks at Ryder.

"I can show you how sick and twisted I am." She points the knife at Ryder's throat and smiles. Slowly she runs the knife down Ryder's arm making shallow cuts along the way. She trails it along the opposite arm going towards her face. As she gets closer to her shoulder the cuts her deeper and wider. Ryder cries out in pain and jerks her arms.

"Stop! Please stop!" I yell at her. I try to pull my hands out, but it's not working. Vicki just ignores me and presses the knife on Ryder's cheek. She keeps pressing harder and harder until she draws blood. Ryder screams for her to stop, but Vicki laughs.

"Vicki?" I hear a voice say. She whips around and drops the knife.

"Dave? You weren't supposed to be home yet." She stammers. Dave walks over to us and his eyes widen.

"What are you doing to them?" He yells. He runs over to Ryder and starts to untie her hands.

"Dave! Leave them there!" Vicki yells and quickly grabs the knife. Dave turns around and holds up his hands.

"Vicki, please don't." He says softly.

"I'm sorry, but you can't leave this garage." She lunges towards Dave, but he jumps back in time and runs to the other side of the garage. Vicki follows him and tackles him into some boxes. We can hear them wrestling around and boxes come tumbling down. Finally we hear a cry and a loud crack. Everything seems to stop until someone stands up.

"Are you guys OK?" Dave asks us and starts to untie Ryder again.

"What happened to Vicki?" I ask.

"Don't worry about her. She won't hurt you anymore." He says and walks over to get me untied.

"Ryder are you OK?" I ask.

"I should be fine." She slurs her words and her head droops.

"She needs to get to a hospital. She lost a lot of blood." Dave says and finishes getting the ropes off me. I rush over to Ryder and pick her up bridal style.

"Go, I'll handle her." He turns and walks back over to where Vicki is.

"Thank you!" I say and walk out of the house.
