Chapter 114: Will We?

- March 1st, 1975 - 

Y/N's POV 

Today is the day we start to plan our wedding. I cannot believe we have been engaged for like 3 months now.

"I am so excited to be marrying you my best friend. I think we should have like a simple but colorful wedding at the same time." Robin says 

"I do like that kind of idea I would love for the wedding to be like greens and greys if that would be okay?" I say 

"I think those colors would go good but maybe it should be green and black." Robin replies 

"Oh yes, the black would be better than the grey colors. I think it would make the colors pop a little bit more." I say but smiling and sitting down 

"Do we have a notebook we can use to help us with the planning of this kind of thing?" Robin asks 

"I do have one that is the right kind of thing that is working for our planning." I say but pulling out the notebook and opening it up 

"Here we go." Robin says but picking out a pen and writing down in the notebook 

"Robin and Y/N's wedding." Robin says out loud as he writes it down

"That is kind of so surreal." I say 

"I know it is and I cannot believe I am marrying youu." Robin says but tackling me onto the couch

"Heyy, we need to get to planning not be in the mood for tackling meee." I say but with a chuckle and sitting back up 

"I think you are cute so what do you think we should start planning about first?" Robin asks 

"I think we should start with the food menu and I do want to keep it kind of basic first but also kind of fancy." I say '

"Okay, food menu." Robin says but writing it down 

"I was thinking we could have this catered as an Italian kind of meal." I say 

"Ooo, yes we are going to be doing that. All of the people I know love pasta and so it is going to work out the best." Robin says but writing out the menu ideas 

"I am so excited to be able to have a various amount of pasta dishes for this. I think we should go with the place across town." I say but smiling 

"I think that is going to be good. I also think the next thing we should be planning is our cake I think we should do a creamy cherry chocolate cake because it just sounds good." Robin says 

"Oh my lord that does sound so good. Chocolate cake and cherry filling with buttercream frosting." I say 

"That is exactly how I could imagine it we could go wedding cake taste testing with different kinds of cakes that are like this idea to see who is going to make the best cake." Robin says but writing the information down 

"I think this is going to be one of the best weddings that has ever happened in this town." I say 

"I think it is going to be as well." Robin says 

"I am wondering if someone is going to be trying to compete with us with this wedding. I do not know why anyone would but I mean you never can predicate these people in this town." I say but with a bit of a giggle 

"I know and do you like the little sketch I made here?" Robin asks but showing me the notebook

"Oh, yes that is cute." I say 

"Okay, well what is going to be the next step?" Robin asks 

"Maybe, flowers??" I ask 

"Ooo, yes we should do that next okay flowers. But, what kind are we going to be looking for?" Robin asks 

"I am thinking we should go for the a mixture of maybe marigolds and whatever other flower you would want to put in the mix." I say but looking at him

"I think marigolds would combine well with daisies it would look so cute and be unique at the same time." Robin says 

"Then, we are going to be going for it and then we can write that down." I say

"Okay, the flowers are going to be marigolds and daises." Robin says as he writes it down 

"I am so excited for this but most of all I am so excited for the writing of my vows." I say but with a giggle 

"Oh shoot, that is right." Robin says but looking back at me 

"Oh, shoot what?" I ask but looking at him

"Oh, nothing I just thought of something else." Robin says but pretending to write something down 

"What kind of things should we plan next?" I ask 

"I think maybe ideas for the tables and should we decorate the place or have someone else do it for us?" Robin asks 

"I think someone should plan it out for us for the decorating part. I think we could find someone for it." I say 

"I cannot wait to see you in your wedding dress. You are going to look so gorgeous." Robin says but kind of zoning out 

"Babe." I say but snapping my fingers in front of his face 

"Huh? What, oh right back to the planning." Robin says 

"I do not know what we could be planning out next. I am not even sure what all the parts to a wedding if I am being honest." I say 

"I know it is kind of hard but fun at the same time trying to remember all of the parts to a wedding." Robin replies but with a smile 

"I think that is going to be enough for right now since we cannot think anymore of what else we could plan out it means we did a good amount." I say but sitting back on the couch 

"Yayy, we are one step closer next we should shop for your wedding dress and my suit." Robin says with a smile
