Y/N's POV
The halls are finally decked and everything is looking perfect. I think all we need to do now is make some sweet treats.
"I think we should make some cookies like snowballs." I say
"I think the snowballs are a unique kind of cookie we should try. I do not know if I have ever had those kind of cookies before." Robin says
"I am surprised but also there is gingerbread cookies." Robin replies
"I think gingerbread cookies are another level of yummy. I do not know why they did not come into my life earlier than they did." I say
"I think I grew up with those kind of cookies if I am being honest." He replies
"Well, me too but like it feels like it was not soon enough." I say
"I think sugar cookies are delicious as well but sometimes not so good if they are not made right." Robin says
"I know there is a certain way I enjoy them and even if they are called sugar cookies if they are too sweet it is kind of like a no thank you." I say but with a chuckle but walking into the kitchen and pulling out a bowl
"What cookie mix are we going to be starting with first?" Robin asks but following behind me
"I was thinking we could do the gingerbread and sugar cookie ones since we have to chill the doughs before we bake them." I say but pulling out some stuff from the cabinets and fridge
"Which one are you going to want to make?" He asks
"I think I will do the sugar cookie one if that is okay with you." I say
"Oh yes, that is good I love to make the gingerbread cookies." Robin says
"Alright perfect then lets get started." I say but pulling out double of the items like spoons and bowls, etc.
"I think this is going to be one of the most fun days we have had yet. I think the boys will not show up which will be good since they will not bother us while we are doing this." Robin says but starting to measure out some ingredients
"Oh good, that sounds alright." I say but measuring out the things I need for the cookies I am going to be making
"This is going to taste so good." Robin says but measuring out the molasses for the cookies he is making
"I think these ones are going to taste good as well." I say but measuring out the sugar I need
"Not too much sugar in those ones please." He replies but continues to measure out the stuff he needs
"I know I am the one who came up with the idea of not too much sugar babe." I say but putting all of the items together and making up the cookie dough
"I think the butter is too soft for these ones." Robin says
"I think you can make it work since the dough is going to be chilling for a bit it will stiffen up more in the fridge." I say
"Oh, that is very true and maybe we could do something in the mean time while we wait for the cookie doughs to chill." Robin says
"Well, yes I am going to be making the snow ball cookies mix of dough." I say but wrapping up the dough in some plastic wrap and putting in a bowl and then putting the bowl in the fridge
"I think you are so quick at that it makes me nervous." Robin says but doing the same thing
"I am going to wash this bowl and then get started on the other cookies." I say but washing the dishes and making up the next cookie recipe
"Is this a recipe which has been in your family for a while or did you find this one out yourself?" He asks but wrapping his arms around me from behind
"I came up with this kind of cookie since I had found the recipe in an article in the newspaper once and it sounded good so I made it." I say
"That sounds like a good idea and I am so glad you were able to find out something like that for yourself." He replies
"I know and it is kind of a unique recipe if I do say so myself but also I did make some modifications to it to which made it more my own than a general recipe." I say but chuckling
"Oooo, so is there like a special ingredient or something?" He asks but stealing some of the pre-mixed cookie dough
"You tell me what you think." I say but chuckling and mixing up the dough before it became into a dough form
"I am not sure." He says but trying the bit he had stolen
"Then, you might just not never know." I say but giggling and finishing the cookie dough mix and making out the cookies
"Do you dip these in some kind of thing?" He asks
"Yes, we do them in powder sugar and it tastes super yummy." I say but putting the cookies in the oven and we finish out the rest of the cookies throughout the rest of the day
