- Next Day -
Y/N's POV
Another day with nothin planned the only good thing is Robin will be home today. He is off from doing things with the boys today so I do not know what we could be doing today.
"I do not know what we could be doing today. Do you have any plans for us or no?" I ask
"I mean we could do anything to be honest." Robin replies
"Do you really think there is quite anything we could possibly do at the moment?" I ask
"Of course there is always something to do in this world. There is never not something we could not dare to do you know." Robin replies
"I always think of things and how interesting it is to know how life goes on day to day. We always have so many things to be able to do." I say
"Well do you think there is something we could do that is on the edge of your mind? Or do you think I need to find out something for us to do?" Robin asks
"I do not know but I know I want french toast because I can smell it in my mind which sounds so good. Do you think we could get or make some?" I ask
"We will have a little breakfast just let us both get ready and then we can head out to go get some." Robin says
"Okay." I say but going to get ready and Robin does the same
"This is going to be so lovely." Robin says but we both finish getting ready
"I am so hungry that I can just taste it now." I say but with a chuckle
"I think you might be losing it a little bit but that is just fine. I think you are going to be okay if you think you will be too." Robin replies
"It is just food that I am hungry for of course I am going to be okay. Why would I not be okay, silly?" I ask
"I do not know but it is going to be nice. Are you ready to get out of here?" He asks
"Yes, I am if you are we can go." I say
"Okay, then let us get going." He replies but we head to the car then out to the food place
"I am so freaking excited to be able to get my French toasttt." I say but looking out the window
"I think everyone and their animals know how excited you are." Robin says but parking the car
We both get out and head on inside and get a table.
"This is such a cute little breakfast place." I say but taking a seat
"I know and they make some of the best food." Robin replies
"I assume you have been here before with someone else?" I ask but looking at him
"Well, yes it is because I was here with my brothers." Robin replies
"Oh, then that is completely another story." I say
"Did you think I would bring up me bringing some else here or something?" He asks
"Well no I did not know what to think when you said that you know. It was kind of one of those things you do not think twice about and kind of just blank out." I say
"Oh, well here is a menu so you can look to see if they have what you want to eat." He says but giving me a menu and looking at his menu
"I am sorry for thinking anything else besides what it was for real." I say but looking at the menu and finding the French Toast on the menu
"What do you think I should be ordering? There is so many things to pick from that I do not know what I should pick." Robin says but looking
"I mean the pancakes and or the waffles both look good. They come with bacon or sausages. I think that could be a good option." I say
"I think I might go with the waffles then it could be nice you know." He replies but putting down the menu
"Okay then." I say but putting the menu down
"And two coffees?" He asks
"Yes, that will work for me." I say
- Waiter comes over and Robin orders for us -
"Okay so it won't be too long she said maybe a max of ten minutes which is good to hear." Robin says
"Right most of the time it is like 20 plus minutes to wait for food." I say
"You know I guess it could be different since it is breakfast and not nothing else you know. I think it helps when it is more simple of the meals." He replies
- Our coffee is brought over -
"That was quick thank you." I say as our coffee is dropped off
"This is some hot but good coffee." Robin says
"True." I say but sipping mine a bit
"Okay, well now we wait a bit longer for the food to come out then we can dig in." Robin says but with a smile setting his coffee down
- Some time goes by and our food is brought out to us -
"This looks so good and I am so ready to dig in." I say but digging in and trying some of the food
"This looks good too thanks for helping me pick out what to get." Robin says
"Mmm, this does taste as good as I had hoped." I say but eating my food
"And this tastes so yumm and good." Robin says but eating his food
"This was a good idea for us to be able to do this morning. Normally we just make the food for in the morning but this was a good idea." I say
"I know and I am so glad to have thought about it you know." He replies
"I know." I say but with a smile and eating
"I think this is going to be a new go to place for us on mornings we are off." He replies but eating
