- Next Day -
Y/N's POV
It is back to work for us today and it went well. Leif Garrett was such a fun surprise to work with he is just getting big in music so it was nice to be able to work with a small artist but he is getting big now in music.
"How did it go with Leif Garrett today?" Robin asks
"It went well and he is such a fun guy to be able to work with. How did your day go with your brothers?" I ask
"It went well we got some stuff down which was nice working on some upcoming material for the coming of days." Robin says
"I wish you were allowed to tell me more about it but I know you can't which is kind of a bummer but it is okay." I say
"I promise you it is something amazing we are working on and once it comes out it is going to be like the absolute best thing ever." Robin replies
"You guys have been in the star light a lot lately which has been good for you guys huh?" I ask
"Yes, and then of course you have Andy who is now jumping into the scene with his first album which is nice to see him doing big things." Robin says
"I think it is amazing to see him doing big things with himself." I say
"I think it is nice you know.. I am so proud of my little brother." Robin says
"I do think he is doing big things in music and it is going to do him so well. He is one of a kind and he does kind of resemble Barry with his voice and such." I say
"I am kind of excited to see how he is going to do in the music scene." Robin says
"It is going to be a lot of fun. But anyways." I say but playing with his hair
"You like my hair don't you?" Robin asks but looking at me
"Maybe I do." I say but kissing his forehead
"Or you just like kissing my forehead." Robin says
"You make me smile so much you know." I say
"I know." Robin says
"What do you want to have for dinner?" I ask but tracing his smile lines
"Umm, I think salad and chicken could be good so it is more of a simple meal? Throw the chicken in the oven and then make a nice salad." Robin says
"I think that could be a good idea. Lets do it." I say
"Then stop trying to put me to sleep." Robin says but chuckling
"Hmm, okay fine." I say but sitting up
"Okay." Robin says but standing up and taking my hand
"To the kitchen?" I ask
"To the kitchen." Robin says but taking my hand and bringing me to the kitchen
"You make the chicken or do I make the chicken?" I ask
"I will make the chicken if you make the salad." Robin says
"Deal then." I say but smiling and getting out the stuff for the salad
Robin pulls chicken out of the fridge since we had defrosted it in the fridge all day.
"I am surprised we remembered to pull chicken out of the freezer this morning." I say
"I know same to be honest you know we always forget then it is a big mess." Robin says but taking the chicken and seasoning it before throwing it into the oven
I cut up the salad fixings and get the salad made and he gets the chicken in the oven.
"I am excited for dinner but it is not going to be ready for a bit of time. So how do we want to pass the time?" I ask
"Well, we could play a card game or a board game whichever sounds more interesting to you." Robin says
"I think we could do a game of Go Fish because you know who is going to be the one wins it." I say
"You?" Robin asks
"No, I know you are going to be the one who wins it like always." I say but with a chuckle
"I do not always always win the game." Robin says
"Not always but most of time yes you do." I say
"Okay, I will go easy on you then." Robin says but getting out the cards and dealing a hand
"I am nervous to look at these cards." I say but looking at them and putting some down as a pair as Robin does the same
"Do you want to go first?" He asks
"Sure, do you have any 8's?" I ask
"Yes, here you go." He says handing me the 8
"Hm, thank you." I say
"Do you have any 6's?" He asks
"No, go fish." I say
"Ah ha." Robin says but getting a card then putting down a pair
- Skips to when dinner is done -
"The chicken has cooled over for long enough I think we can eat now." I say but getting us some plates out then some drinks
Robin pull out the forks and spoons
"I think this day is going to be nice ending. Are we going to make dessert or skip out on it tonight?" He asks
"I am not too sure but we can see after we eat if we want to make something sweet." I say
"Okay." Robin says but plating our chicken
I put the salad on the plates and the drinks on the table.
- After Dinner -
"That was good." I say
"It was huh." Robin says but walking into the bathroom
"What time is it?" I ask
"8pm." Robin says
"Dang the day went by in the blink of an eye." I say
"I know." Robin says but brushing his teeth and I join him
"I think time is trying to speed up or something." I say
"Maybe it is could be possible." Robin says
"I think it is nice to be able to think about life as it is something you need to take head on." I say
We finish brushing
"Kiss me darling." Robin says but looking at me
I kiss his lips softly then smile
"Thank you." Robin says but walking out of the room
"It is time to get comfortable." I say but going to get changed into comfortable clothes
"You going to take my shirt again?" Robin asks
"Of course not." I say but walking out and I was in Robin's shirt
"I see that is completely not my shirt." Robin replies
"I could not help it." I say
"mmmhmm." Robin says but changing into comfy clothes as well
