Chapter 185: Life You Know

- Skips to the weekend - 

Y/N's POV 

Today is finally the weekend again. I think this is going to be nice to be able to have some time to relax. The week seemed to drag on.

"I think this is going to be so much fun." Robin says 

"Well yes getting to be off on the weekend and planning a road trip is kind of nice." I say

"I think road trips are so much fun to be honest. I mean who could not love a good road trip?" Robin asks 

"I know you would have to be freaked out if someone told me they did not like the idea of road trips." I say

We live in New York City so we are going to be heading out to another city today. We are going to be going to Buffalo. 

"It is like a 6 or 7 hour drive. I think that is going to be kind of a long trip but it is going to be so much fun." Robin says 

"I do think it is going to be a long drive but being away from the house for a bit of time is going to be much needed." I say

"I think so too and the boys said if we need them to check on the house we can have them to do so." Robin replies 

"I think packing up the car now is going to be the only hard part of this right now." I say

"I do think that it is going to be not too bad." Robin says but we begin to take our suitcases to the case and loading those 

"I think we need to make sure we have a lot of snacks and drinks packed. Did we decide where we are going to be having lunch?" I ask

"I do not think so but I think on the road we can just pick a spot and chose to eat there. I think it would not be hard to find a fast food place." Robin replies 

"Right so it is going to be up to the idea of the road and how soon we want to stop for lunch." I say

"What time is it right now?" Robin asks 

"It is 7 in the morning so it is going to be like around 3 or something when we get into Buffalo." I say

"I do think it is going to be a lot of fun to be working on this drive. We have not been on the road in kind of a long time like this huh?" Robin asks 

"No, it has been a lot of time that has passed since." I say

"Are you going to be doing a majority of the driving or do you want me to do it?" Robin asks 

"You can be the one who is driving first and when you get tired then we can switch if you would like." I say

"I think that could be good you know. It will be good when it comes to timing and we will not have to  stop too much you know." Robin replies 

"Napping in the car is kind of nice you know one of us can sleep while the other one is going to be sleeping." I say

"I am excited to be able to see all the scenes we are going to be seeing on the road." Robin says but we end up loading everything else into the car 

"I am trying to make sure we are not going to be missing or forgetting something that could be important in the end." I say

"I know it is like do we have everything? Are we missing anything? Are we good to go?" Robin asks 

"Also the hotel we booked is so nice and I am so excited to be able to be going there and heading on into it." I say

"Did you hear good things about it?" Robin asks 

"Yes, I did and I am so excited for us to be going there." I say

"I think we will make it in by a decent time you know. Do you think it will be more around 3 or more closer to 4?" Robin asks 

"More than likely it will be much closer to the 4 o'clock hour." I say

"Well I think it is time for us to be able to get down on the road." Robin says but we walk downstairs 

"I think we just need these and we are going to be good to get on the road." I say but grabbing our last bag of snacks and water bottles 

"Got our keys, wallets, and money." Robin says 

"check." I say

"Alright then in the car we get ready to go to." Robin says but we lock up the door and we head on into the car 

"This is going to be so much fun." I say but looking out the window 

"Bye bye to the house for now." Robin says but we buckle up

"Hmm, this is going to be nice." I say

"I do not think the start of this drive is going to be so bad." Robin replies 

"I do not think so too." I say

"Lets do it." Robin says but pulling out of the driveway

I get comfortable in the passenger seat.

"You look so cute you know?" Robin  says 

"Would you shush? You need to pay attention to the road and not me." I say

"I know I know but it is fine." Robin says 

"I know you are paying attention but when you look at me it is kind of freaking me out since you need to freaking look at the road." I say

"Ok ok would you be shushed now?" Robin asks but with a chuckle 

"Interesting alright this is going to be a nice road drive." I say

"Alright lets do it." Robin says 

"Well we are kind of doing it already." I say

"Yeah, you have a point but you know you know." Robin says but with a chuckle and driving
