- Next Day -
Y/N's POV
These days seem to being going by quicker and quicker each day. I feel like time is starting to speed up which is kind of freaking me out. I think today is the day we are going to go look at dogs and see if we are going to be adopting one.
"I think we should get like a pug or something." Robin says
"Pugs are cute but why do you want one?" I ask but with a chuckle
"I do not know why but I just want one. I think they would be so cute running around." Robin says
- We head to the pet shelter and inside -
"I am not too sure what kind of breed of dog we should get? But I think we should get one that does not shed." I say
"You have a point you know what I am saying. I do think a dog without the ability to shed would be good." Robin says
"I think we should get a French Bull. I think they are easy to train and would be so cute." I say
"Aww, so kind of like a pug but even cuter?" Robin asks
"Well, all kinds of dogs are cute but yes you know what I am saying." I say
"I think this is going to be a cute day for us to be playing with all sorts of dogs to pick out the right one." Robin says
"Do you think we will find the perfect dog right away?" I ask
"I think we might be able to pick out of these dogs the perfect one for us. I also think this is kind of prepping us for having a child." Robin says
"You just want a child so darn bad don't ya?" I ask
"Maybe but it is okay I know we are waiting and this dog is going to be our child to take care of. A dog with a wet tongue and a cute little tail." Robin says but chuckling
- We go into a couple of the kennels and hang out with some of the different dogs -
"This is kind of harder than I thought it would be since I kind of you know want all of the dog." I say
"I think it is cute to know of many different things. I want to know which one of the dogs we want the most out of the ones we have hung out with." Robin says
"I think the brown Frenchie was the cutest and the sweetest with us. What do you think?" I ask
"I think the same thing to be honest. It seemed to love being all over of us." Robin says but with a chuckle
"I think it could be good for us to be able to get that one." I say
"I am wondering how long this choice is going to take for us to make it?" Robin asks
"I do not know but the lady said we can take one of them on a walk and see how he or she acts on the walk with us." I say
"I think we should take that one dog out. She is a girl and her name is Princess which is such a cute name for a dog." Robin says
"I think so too like I would not even want to change the name if we get here. She can be our little princess girl." I say
"Okay, lets take her on a walk and find out if she is going to like being with us or not." Robin replies
- We get her on a leash and we end up going for a walk with her -
"She is not a puller on the leash that is for sure." I say
"I wonder if she has been trained previously. That would be such a cute and nice touch for us adopting her." Robin says
"I think it would be nice you know. We would not have to train her again and be able to work with her on this whole thing. I think the training process can be long and hard but if she is kind of trained we just add on to the training." I say
"You are good at training dogs though so it is not going to be too hard." Robin says
"I think it is kind of nice to be able to train dogs maybe I should pick it up as a side hustle." I say but with a chuckle
"I am not too sure but I think you could volunteer at shelters or something." Robin says
"I wonder how long it would take to become someone who does that kind of thing." I say
"I think she is the one." Robin says
"I think so too so lets go back to the room and let them know we would like to adopt her." I say
"I think this is going to be one of the best days of our lives for now." Robin says
"I know and I am so excited to be able to start this new journey of our lives." I say
"We are now doggy parents and this is one big responsibility but you know we got this." Robin says
"The dog will be able to travel with us on tour and when we are not on tour it gets to hang out with us of course." I say
"Yeah, we do have very busy lives but this dog is going to have the best life ever." Robin replies but with a smile
"Aww, you look so cute when you smile." I say
"Don'ttt even start with me. Lets sign the adoption papers and pay the fee and get our baby." Robin says
"Okay, yes you got it." I say
- We get the papers and fill out all of the information and then pay the fee for our new baby -
"I think this is going to be an amazing start to a new journey in our life." Robin says but with a smile as he takes the leash
"I have to agree my love." I say but kissing his cheek
