- Next Day -
Y/N's POV
Today is one of those days.. where we have to prepare for ourselves to get back to work. I think getting back into the groove of work is one of the hardest things. But, I have a feeling it is going to be fun.
"I think this is going to be fun trying to get ourselves back into a routine." Robin says but handing me a cup of coffee
"I know after the holidays a huge reset is needed." I say but taking the coffee
"I think this is going to be one good year. No, I do not think but I know it is going to be a good year. We are going to have one of the best ones yet." Robin says
"1976 is going to be so amazing to us and it looks like so many amazing things going to be coming to us." I say but looking at him
"You have a lovely point my baby." Robin says but sitting next to me on the bed
"I have to get back to work and I have a lot of people who are lining up for me to do photoshoots with." I say
"I know and I am so glad that you have so many things coming for you my baby." Robin says but putting his coffee down on the bedside table
"I am so proud of how far we have come in life." I say but putting my coffee down as well
"Come hereee." Robin says but opening his arms
I look at him
"Come here into my arms we have a few days left to relax." Robin says but keeping his arms open
"Mmm." I say but laying down in his arms
"You know sometimes I wonder how god came up with you my love." Robin says
"I wonder how god came up with you too. You are so wonderful and amazing." I say but looking at him
"You are too but you just stole the words right out of my mouth." Robin says but with a chuckle
"Well, since this is our last day to chill before we must discuss work plans what should we do with our day?" I ask
"I think we should do some grocery shopping and maybe just some shopping in general for the house it could do us good." Robin says
"You have a point then we are not going to be worried about what we need for the house." I say
"Right, and I think it could be good to have the fridge and pantry full for us when we are done with work." Robin says
"I also think we need some teas and sugar." I say
"I think so too so what time is it do you know?" Robin asks
"I think it is like 9 or something," I say
"Okay, we will get ready here soon then." Robin says but kissing my forehead
"Well, alright then my love." I say but closing my eyes for a minute
"You just love the idea of being in my arms, huh?" He asks
"Yes, it is my favorite thing." I say but with a slight smile on my face
"And why is that?" He asks
"I feel safe when I am here in your arms. As though nothing could ever hurt me." I say
"I am glad I make you feel that way." He replies
"Do you like being in my arms??" I ask
"Who wouldn't baby." He replies
"Mmm, okay good." I say but opening my eyes and looking at him
"Better let me be in your arms tonight then." Robin says but looking at me
"You know it." I say but sitting up
"Are you ready to get ready?" He asks
"Yeah." I say but getting off the bed and going to pick out an outfit
Robin looks at me as I do so.
"What are you looking at?" I ask
"My whole world, what are you looking at?" He asks
"My whole world." I say but with a chuckle then heading into the bathroom to shower and get ready
"Don't take foreverr." Robin says but teasing and picking out what he is going to wear for the day
- A few minutes go by and I come out of the bathroom and looks at Robin who is staring at the tv-
"Good you did not take forever." He says but with a chuckle and looking at me
"You shush." I say but sitting down on the bed and pulling out my makeup and hair stuff
"Never." He says but going to shower and get ready
- I do my make up and finish by the time he comes out of the bathroom -
"I told you I would not take half as long as you didd." Robin says
"Good timing as you would say." I say but putting my makeup away
"You know you do not need makeup to look gorgeous, right? You are naturally beautiful." Robin says but drying his hair
"Whatever you say." I say but plugging in my straightener
"I wonder how long this hair of mine will take to dry or if I should just blow dry it." Robin says
"Do whatever you want mi amor." I say but putting the straightener down
"I think I am going to go blow dry it." Robin says but going into the bathroom
"Okay, my love." I say but doing my hair
- Robin comes back and sits on the bed next to me -
"Are you hungry?" Robin asks
"I could eat." I say
"Okay then my love." Robin says but kissing my lips then walking downstairs
"Mmm." I say but finishing to get ready
- Minutes go by then I head to the kitchen -
"I have got eggs and bacon if that sounds good to you." Robin says but looking over at me
"That sounds good to me." I say but smiling and wrapping my arms around him
"Good." Robin says but smiling
"I always feel like a short shit when I do this." I say but chuckling
"Mmm, you are my short shit." He says but with a chuckle
"Why thank you." I say but pouring us some orange juice
