♥︎Chapter Twenty-Five:
Bonnie and Clyde, Reunited Once More

Angelina had woken up almost an hour ago, and in that time she felt like her world had collapsed, reconstructed itself and then collapsed again.

She didn't want to be too quick to jump to conclusions or rejoice because things were never as plain as they seemed, but she had had a dream that showed the secrets of her past, and it had unlocked a part of her mind that hadn't been open in a long time.

It wasn't like she was suddenly flooded with all her lost memories of the last 35 years, but she knew what had happened and why, and that was enough to almost cause her to pass out all over again.

These were the answers she had been-not so actively- looking for, for not only the past year, but since her parents were killed, and not by her.

They had been killed by the Handler, Five's previous boss, as well as hers apparently and her fake mother.

A better word would probably be kidnapper.

It was all just so crazy and the thought of everything hitting her all at once had been enough to inflict an earth shattering headache upon her.

Though, it wasn't long before Grace had come in with new clothes in return for the ones that had been torn and destroyed.

She had offered her a brief diagnosis that had consisted of a short run down of what had happened.

She had been brought in by the boys while she was unconscious because of blunt head trauma, presumably from some sort of accident in which she fell or hit her head. She had external bleeding from the back of the head, probably from the same cause, that had to be stitched up incase of further injury. She had gained a deep wound at the top of her chest and was lucky that it wasn't lower or deeper or her injury could have become much more serious. She was told she'd have a high likelihood of survival.

She hadn't even noticed the throbbing on the back of her head or the deep open wound lining the skin stretching between her shoulders and her collarbone until Grace had mentioned it,  because of her whole mess of a morning. Or maybe it was because of the amount of pain meds they had given her. Thankfully, it had been stitched up, unlike her now destroyed shirt. Well, it wasn't her shirt. It was Allison's.

She didn't know where Allison was. She had asked Grace but she had been vague.

She hadn't spoken much to Allison until about a day ago, but when the amount of things that happen to you happen, bonds tend to grow a bit quicker than usual.

She didn't want to think the worst, but considering she had a massive gash on her that she could barely feel anymore thanks to anesthesia presumably, she couldn't help but get a feeling that she wasn't the only one who hadn't made it out unscathed.
