Hi everyone!

It's been way too long since I last posted a chapter and I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last posted. I've been really busy with uni stuff and placements, but I've managed to write up a couple of chapters since I last posted, so hopefully I can go back to my regular uploading schedule soon 😅

I'd like to thank you all for being patient with me and reading, sharing, saving, commenting on and liking my stories! You guys are awesome! Again, I'm sorry for leaving the story unupdated for the past 6 months, but I really hope you guys enjoy this new chapter 😄

While I've been gone, I've also been thinking more about how to flesh out certain characters, so although there's an argument in this chapter, it's cuz I wanna build up characters' characters 😅

As always, a huge thank you to my bestie evelync1313 for helping me to write this book, you've been amazing with all the suggestions, co-writing and being my beta-reader 🥲

I hope you all enjoy the new chapter ✌🏻😁

Summary: Y/n's client cancels on her, so Aryia invites her out with the boys. What starts off as a fun night develops into something else as Colby brings something up from the MetaLife launch party.

"On "Three"." Kévin announced before counting. "One... two... three..."

Aryia and Reggie both got off their marks and ran towards the two BB guns on the upper deck of the KRAC House pool. Cassie and I were stood off to the side as Kévin started his weekly vlog by having the other boys of the house see who could be the first person to shoot an unopened can of seltzer on the patch of grass outside the music studio. The match had been close, and I thought that Aryia had done well to run in a pair of flip-flops, but in the end, it had been Reggie who had won the shooting game by only a fraction of a second.

Our roommate made an angry face, but I could tell that he was happy on the inside by the way he was cheering and from Kévin's applause.

I commended Aryia for trying and suggested that he'd done exceptionally well to run in his current footwear, which made him smile and giggle a little as I headed inside to hang out before I went to tutor the piano at 6pm that night.

"Did you manage to get time off next week?" He asked. "I really wanna go out on our first official date."

"Well no, but I did manage to change a session with one of the kids I'm tutoring until next Tuesday, so hopefully on Friday I can do one piano session with another family for an hour and come home right after so we can hang out."

"Sounds like a plan." He smiled. "Hey why don't we–"

Aryia's voice was interrupted by the ringtone of my work phone.

"Sorry, I gotta take this." I apologized.

He shrugged, "Sure."

"Hello?" I asked, answering the phone.

"Hello, is this Evra?"

"Oh hi, yes this is me."

"It's Mrs. Jones from Jellico Avenue. I'm just calling to say that Tommy's come down with chicken pox and a really bad fever so he won't be able to attend the session this evening."

"Awwh no." I replied. "Awwh well I hope he gets better soon."

"Thank you. That means a lot."

"Alright, well thanks for calling and letting me know."
