Happy Monday everyone!
And since it's Monday, you all know what that means - NEW CHAPTER TIME :D WOO!!
This week's chapter features Aryia's alpaca video (which is literally one of the best comfort videos EVER in my opinion :3) and also includes Aryia's 1 year sobriety celebration in this chapter too as it's a very important date and I'm so proud of him for his 1 year of sobriety as well as every year following! Aryia is such an inspiration and I love him so much!! Words seriously cannot express how proud I am of him :') and I will ALWAYS support, treasure, and love him unconditionally :')
I can't say too much more because if I do, I'll cry (seriously so proud though ;u;) so with that said, I hope you all look forward to the new chapter :)!

Aryia had taken me out on a date to In 'n Out the night before a state-wide quarantine had been announced. Truly, I wasn't surprised that we had been put into lockdown; ever since Coronavirus was first announced, I'd suspected that there was a lockdown coming at some point. Though this would mean that I would be required to work from home – which wasn't the most ideal way of doing my job – and it hadn't helped that I had at least another 25 appointments booked for music clients that I now had to do over Zoom, though with all of the SimplyPiano and SimplyGuitar adverts I was starting to see.
I was also growing more worried about my family in Fresno, especially considering how my dad was a cop and my mom was a nurse working one of the busiest wards at the local hospital; the fact that the ward was respiratory definitely didn't help either as it meant that she would be at risk. And with my younger siblings Maxwell and Avery still at school, I wondered how it would affect them with studies and exams when I knew they would have so many distractions at home. I made a note to drop a call or live chat to them every now and then.I'd have to reschedule visiting home with Aryia when the pandemic had ended and the craziness following it had all settled down. I just hoped that nobody I was close to would contract the virus because after hearing about cases abroad and in other states, I knew that the symptoms were painful and life-threatening.
Another downside to quarantine was that Kévin and I would have to come up with an alternative plan for Aryia's first anniversary of sobriety. We both knew how much Aryia's sobriety meant to him – it meant a lot to us too – but it was the reason why Kévin and I wanted to do something special to celebrate. Knowing he valued all of his friends, we had originally planned to host another party at the KRAC House, though because of the pandemic, it was made impossible, which meant we needed to find a new alternative. Kévin had initially suggested a Zoom call, but we always did calls with our friends over the meeting app and I had grown tired of seeing that damned blue bubble-writing logo during work – pretty sure that Aryia was also bored when he sat next to me.
There were a few things I was glad about regarding staying at home for pretty much 24/7, the main one being that I had more time to spend with my roommates. The top of the list was obviously Aryia who I hadn't been able to hang around with much of recently thanks to my increased workload, and thanks to the new preventative measures put in place this would all change, which was definitely a bonus.
I was also happy that California had been put into quarantine now as if I'd still be able to go to work, I would have got absolutely soaked with all of the rain we were getting lately. But ever since the weather had taken this turn, Aryia had been bringing up a strange but also very fun idea.
"Evie, do you wanna surf an alpaca?" He had asked.
I was so confused when he first brought it up. "What?" I asked, having stopped scrubbing our dinner plates to focus my attention on Aryia who was standing next to me and drying up, a tea towel in hand.
