Good morning/ Good evening! Welcome to chapter 29 of Sweet Rhymes, Smooth Rhythms!
If any of you saw the message I put out on my page, you know that I'm updating the book with chapter 30 on Thursday! Yes! I'm finally posting twice a week! I got another chapter finished last night and an extra one was completed today so with just 5 chapter left to write, I'll definitely have Sweet Rhyme, Smooth Rhythms all posted by the end of the year :3
If you haven't checked my conversations tab, please do as I'm trying to post updates every Sunday and it'll let you know my posting schedule for the next few weeks :) But yeah, we only have 20 parts left after this week, so every time I'm not working on my essay or fanart for my Instagram (if you wanna follow me on there, my handle is the same :D) I'll be writing something for the book. With that in mind, I hope you guys enjoy the new chapter and look forward to my next update on Thursday :3

In the two weeks following Nick and Mariah's wedding, Aryi and I attended two Halloween parties. The first had been in Manhattan and had taken place a few days before Halloween. We had stayed with Aryia's friend Ben who owned an apartment in New York and was glad to have a bit of company in his condo as well as at the event.
It had annoyed me a little finding out that both of the boys were cosplaying Itachi from Naruto. It wouldn't have bothered me nearly as much if I hadn't already agreed to attend the club as an older alternative version of Izumi – who was Itachi's girlfriend from the show – for a couple's costume with Aryia, since now it looked like I was in a love-triangle relationship with the two boys.
While Aryia wore the Akatsuki cloak he would be wearing at the show over a fishnet shirt, black t-shirt and black jeans with his signature Doc Marten's and the signature Itachi headband. I was dressed in a sleeveless black turtleneck – which had an upside-down triangle crop on my chest – with black shorts that zipped on the side, fishnet tights, tall black boots and long black fingerless gloves. Upon revealing my outfit to him, Aryia was stunned for almost a whole minute, so clearly he liked it – later calling it "hot" which had the same effect on me that my new outfit had on him. Aryia and Ben's outfits were both based on Itachi's official character design while mine was based on a piece of fanart I'd found of the two characters together as Izumi was dead in the show – so I could have added blood but the shorts I was wearing were my favorite and I didn't want to rip them, so I went with alternative universe version of the character instead.
The boys also looked really similar from the back so when I came back from the bathroom, I had a bit of a hard time distinguishing the pair when they were sharing a couple of drinks together, though I correctly picked out Aryia when I found them and cuddled him from behind. This had also been our first club experience in almost three years but I was glad that we had come to Manhattan with Aryia for the event. It had been really fun, even with Ben's teasing as Aryia put his Akatsuki ring on my finger during a dance with me.
Part of me couldn't help but wish that we had gone to Sam and Colby's house for a Trap House halloween party though, as despite the noise, at least there wouldn't be two people there with the same costume. I later found out that The CamBoys and their friends were all attending as Toy Story characters.
In New York I had took photos of the two boys in their Itachi cosplays with Ben's katana swords, filmed Aryia dancing (a little sensually) to a music video in Ben's apartment which made me blush throughout his whole showcase that didn't go unnoticed by either of the boys, and finished with the party. So continuing on the east coast, we headed off to Massachusetts for the party that Jay and Jessie were hosting.
