The day after Levi had been born, I was cleared by the doctor who said it would be alright for us to go home. Before doing so, I'd had observations checked four times – all perfectly normal – and we had given Levi his first bath. My mom wanted to be the one to give Levi his first bath but Aryia also insisted on doing it with me, so we compromised by letting my mom show us how it was done before we took over.

Throughout the nine months of my pregnancy, I wondered how well the two of us would adjust once Levi was born but we managed quite well. Aryia was even more into his new role as a dad than I was as a new mom, having changed Levi almost every time his diaper needed a change and helped me by walking me to and from the bathroom before assisting me back into bed since I now had to work on losing my baby weight.

Trixie also came in a few times in the last day to check up on us, feel my abdomen to ensure my womb was shrinking back to its normal size and going through recommendations for exercises to assist with this; meaning that I would likely be joining Aryia for his daily yoga sessions again, as well as taking Ronnie on walks.

Once omy final set of observations had been completed, Levi had been fed and the final checks were ticked off, Aryia called Kévin and asked him to pick us up to go home. He came into our hospital room after almost getting lost by going up the wrong floor but he had one of the biggest smiles I'd ever seen him wearing plastered on his face when he entered the room.

"Oh... my... god." He said as soon as he saw us; Aryia holding Leviwhose chin was resting on his father's shoulder. "Dad?" The way he asked was reminiscent of the way Aryia had said the same word in Jake's renaissance video from almost four years ago, making me giggle.

"Hey Kévin." I smiled.

"Hi." He said, giving me a hug before turning to Aryia and Levi. "He's so tiny!" He smiled. "But so cute."

Levi was sleeping soundly at this point and none of us wanted to wake him up, But it was obvious that Kévin was excited to meet his godson. He then turned his attention back to me. "Evra, are you okay, Evra?"

"I'm fine." I smiled. "Just a little sleepy is all."

"That's good to hear." He smiled back. "Aryia?"

"Hm?" My boyfriend looked at his best friend with a questioning glance.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." He smiled. There was a slightly pink tint to his cheeks. Was he trying not to cry? Honestly, he was so smitten with Levi that it made it hard for me to tell.

"Yeah right, bro, look at you, you're soft as fuck." He teased.

"Kévin~" He pouted at his best friend.

"What? It's true." He shrugged.

"And here I was gonna ask if you wanted to hold him. I think I'll be letting him sleep with his head on my shoulder a little longer, right Little Wolfy." He asked the baby as he gently swayed Levi in his arms, still holding him protectively.
