Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a great weekend 😊!

As promised on Tuesday, I'm posting another chapter today to make up for not posting last week! This one is sort of a filler chapter but it connects chapters 5 and 7 together, so it's still kind of important to the story (even if it's only a filler). This chapter is also based on Kévin's video "Their First Big Argument as Roommates" (linked above) and I've added Y/N to the cooking competition to make things a little more interesting. So I hope you guys enjoy the new part 😁!

Summary: Kévin hosts a Purple Carrot cooking contest between the roommates.

"Remind me what we're doing again, Kévin." I asked as my roommate started setting up for a video. "Not another Purple Carrot video!"

"You know it Evra." He replied, laughing.

I facepalmed. "How many of them are you gonna do?"

"Well they keep sponsoring me and the food always tastes great. So as many as I need to."

I whined. "At least tell me that the meals you have are actually good this time."

"They're always good." He commented, putting the four instruction packs on the living room coffee table and underneath a cushion so that none of us could take a sneak peek at any of the menus.

"Do you want me to ask the guys if they're ready to film?" I asked, rubbing my eyes since I was still tired after coming home from work the previous night.

"If you want." He shrugged.

"I'll go and get Aryia then."

"Thanks Evie. There's a reason you're my favorite roommate."

"You flatterer." I smiled with a small roll of the eyes – making a mental note to tell Aryia that I had now replaced him as Kévin's favorite roommate. "I'll be back in five minutes."

"Sure thing. Just don't go making out too long." He joked.

I blushed when I got to the door, going red and replying that I would be as quick as possible before making my way down to the music studio where my boyfriend was.

I could see that he was engrossed by his iMac screen, so I knocked on the door before entering.

"Ary?" I greeted him.

The moment I entered and called his name, his attention shifted to me.

"Evie! Hey!" He smiled, taking off his headset as I gave him a hug.

"Hey~" I smiled back, giving him a cuddle. "What're you working on?"

"Oh, just some new songs. I don't know when they'll come out, but I've been wanting to make another album for a while now and I feel like I can really put a story behind what I'm working on. They're sorta based on my life and I wanna make a movie about it." He explained as he saved the track he was composing before he turned off the computer. "Oh yeah, is Kévin ready to start filming?"

"Yup!" I nodded. "He's got everything set up in the living room and kitchen."

"Another Purple Carrot video?"

I nodded with a pout.

"They annoy you, don't they?" He giggled, knowing me all too well.

I shrugged. "Not really. I'd just kinda prefer to eat something other than a vegan meal with the roommates for once."
