"Shouldn't you be in bed?" Aryia asked as I entered the kitchen the following morning.

"Shouldn't you?" I replied. "It's still early."

"Evra, it's 10:30."

I shrugged. "So?"

"So, what I'm saying is that if you're not well, you should be in bed resting."

"I'm not a child Aryia, besides, I feel a lot better than I did yesterday."

"You're something else, you troublesome woman, go on, go back to bed and I'll bring you in some breakfast and look after you once I've had my shower."

I shook my head. "Aryia, I'm fine! Stop being such a crybaby, I feel okay, really."

"Not sure if I should buy it."

I pouted. "Look, just cuz I've had a stomach bug for the last week or so, it doesn't mean I don't feel any better now."

"Are you trying to say I took that good care of you?" Aryia smirked, leaning his hands against the kitchen counter and taking a sip of his favorite ginger tea.

I smiled, looking at the floor before meeting his gaze again. "I'm not saying you didn't take good care of me. I'm saying that I feel a lot better now, and I don't wanna be stuck in bed all day for another week."

"So you still feel sick?"

"I feel fine." I sighed. "Now c'mon, if you're having a shower, let's make breakfast before you get in."

"I was thinking about doing something different, actually."

"Like...?"

"Having breakfast in the shower."

"Seriously Aryia?!"

He shrugged, "Yeah, why not?"

"Cuz it'd be so messy... And it's also kinda– no, really disgusting..." I admitted, feeling as if I was going to be sick again like I had been for the entirety of the past week.

"It needs cleaning anyway." He shrugged, taking another sip of his tea.

"Who's the troublesome one now?"

Aryia pouted.

...

'I can't believe he actually convinced me...' I thought, putting the top patty on the cheese burger I was making for Aryia.

I sighed as I picked up the plate and walked into the living room to get to Aryia who was just about to take his shower with the burger I made him.

'Though I guess there's no point in arguing about it. After all, he's done a lot for me since I became sick last week, so he does deserve this much at least.'

I knocked on the bathroom door before entering. Aryia was standing by the sink FaceTiming Kate when I came in with his breakfast burger. He turned to me as I came through the door.

"Oh hey, she's here. I gotta go."

"Sure thing, see you later." Kate smiled on the phone before disconnecting the call.
