Hi guys! Happy Monday!

I'm really sorry about how short last week's chapter was ^^". This week's is also a little short but there will be some longer ones coming out soon :3!! I didn't get around to writing much last week as I was doing one of the essays I have to submit in July, but the good news is that I finished it and only have one more left to write, so I can get round to writing more chapters for the book :D!!

This week's chapter is based on when the KRAC House took part in the BLM protests in LA and I've also included Kévin's birthday video into this chapter as well :3 Apologies if there is anything triggering included in this chapter, I tried to make it as close to real events as possible without making it too dramatic, so I hope there isn't anything too triggering in there ^^"

But with that said, I hope you all enjoy the new part :3

"We're about to get our balls sucked today..." Aryia announced to the camera as Kévin walked in with the video camera "by racists."

In the last couple of weeks, Aryia had dyed the blond half of his hair a bright candyfloss pink, which I had to admit suited him quite well – though not as well as the blond had. We'd seen a lot of information online recently – as well as on the news – regarding the murders of innocent black people. Which is exactly why we were sitting in the living room creating signs to join in on the protests going on in town. We had made one on a piece of cardboard with a peace logo drawn onto it and I was currently helping Reggie with his sign, reading: "Racists can suck my balls".

"Yeah! Racism can suck our balls!" We added as we continued coloring in the letters I had outlined with Sharpies.

...

"Ya know, once every fuckin' 300 years, there's a change made. Ya know, what if that could be it?" Aryia asked as we all walked down the street to go to the protest.

We were all dressed in black, the color of clothing making it more difficult for people to distinguish our concealed identities and hinder any prosecution by making it difficult to tell who was who. Since the pandemic was still ongoing, we all had black facemasks on as well; which would not only decrease the likelihood of contracting respiratory diseases, but would also protect us from the effects of pepper spray if anyone decided to use it. Aryia had a black beanie on as well, considering that the candy pink of his hair was more distinguishable than Reggie's blond and our darker hair colors. We held hands when we carried our signs to the streets, holding them up high so that people could read them, holding our fists up to passers by in support of the cause – as well as Kévin who was vlogging the protest from his perspective.

We had been to a few protests over the past week with cardboard signs, having even met up with the rest of the Stranger Friends during one of the larger ones in the center of town. The only difference between this one and the rest however, is that it wasn't as peaceful. Aryia, Kévin and I had got separated from Reggie and Cassie in the crowd and there were sirens blaring everywhere.

"This is crazy." Kévin commented before sitting down on the sidewalk with us standing behind him, trying to make our roommates out in the crowd. It should have been a bit easy to spot Reggie as he was wearing red pants, but we couldn't see him anywhere.

"This is insane." Our roommate said into the camera, just as we heard a crack going off. "Oh shit!"

"What the fuck was that?!" I asked.
