Summary: A visit to Sam and Colby's house just a few weeks before Christmas leads to Aryia and Evra's first major argument.

Christmas music played on the radio as we pulled back into the KRAC House driveway. It was now the end of November, meaning 20 degree weather and hoodies with fluffy white socks and Christmas outfits were in fashion as the holidays drew ever closer.

Speaking of Christmas outfits, I had just come back from buying a new fluffy winter onesie, meaning that couch time cuddles with Aryia while watching Netflix would be extra snuggly – one of the best things about winter as I loved to spoon together with Aryia, Ronnie and Rémy beneath a fluffy blanket or our comforter and watch movies together as a family.

I had completed my Spotify Wrapped a few days ago and had found it wild how Aryia and I both had ourselves as our top artists. He had explained that the last year had been about self-love as much as it had about loving each other, and I couldn't help but agree, both ending up in the top 0.05% of our own audiences and having each other as our second most-played artist.

After the LA show in November, I had also spent a few days with Cassie, Tara and Devyn, going out shopping while Aryia gushed over the fact that over 220 people had bought tickets for the show – which he hadn't stopped talking about since it happened, but I was still happy for him. I knew how much it meant to him and his dream, just from how he reacted to the news on the ticket website and had spent most of the following few days in our room creating new music for the fans and working as hard as he always had.

Aryia had taken me out earlier that week too, both bringing our laptops to a café to work on some song ideas and a plan he had for Candyland: Part 2 which would require permission from Nick to use one of his songs as inspiration, though we had both decided to hold off on asking for now due to the vast number of ideas we had while coming up with more music inspiration. One of the songs Aryia wanted to create was the joke he sometimes made during nights out with the boys about kissing them, and although the concept was fun, he didn't think he'd actually get down to making it for a few months – at least not until the next time we returned to New England – another song he came up with was based on the toxicity of LA and how he wanted to change everything by moving to Boston but how he still loved both locations, so set that one down for a few years down the line too just in case we really did move there in the near future. Though my favorite idea he had created was a memorial song for one of his friends that had died earlier on in the year. I thought it was so sweet of him to create a song in remembrance of him.

I had also suggested a metal song which he liked the sound of, adding it to his list and deciding that he should write it based on hypocrisy and some other hardcore topics before suggesting some ideas to me; including a song about our relationship which I decided to write by drawing some inspiration from Aryia's perspective and thoughts about me before making another idea to write a song about him – which had made him blush. Though something I really wanted to try was creating covers for some Attack on Titan songs like Hange's theme Baüklotze and mixing Historia and Ymir's songs Zero Eclipse and Call of Silence together which Aryia had been down to cover with me if I wanted to make it a duet.
