Three months later, we arrived back in Los Angeles.

We had spent a few more days with Jay, Jessie and Nick finalizing the last few bits and pieces of Candyland and writing more songs for releases later on when we next visited Boston. After two weeks of staying in Massachusetts, Aryia booked a pair of tickets for Amsterdam, the two of us taking a flight there a few days later followed by a coach which took us into the city.

My favorite thing to do in Boston – aside from making music with Jay and Nick – had been going to an aquarium. There was a tank in one of the rooms where we could actually touch the fish and one poor kid had almost got his finger bitten. Some other honorable mentions were going for walks in the park and just relaxing and spending time with Aryia while we ate ice creams by the river. I felt so lucky to have this quality time alone with him, and after a lot of talking, I admitted that I liked Boston enough that I would have given some serious thoughts to moving there which had been a pleasant surprise for Aryia as he had apparently been debating it for a while.

Europe's travel restrictions were tighter than those in the US and had only just opened up a few days before we purchased our plane tickets, but restrictions were very similar to back home in America with face coverings being compulsory. Aryia and I had both taken a few days away from social media during our last couple of days in Haverhill to spend more time together as a couple before sharing our trip with our fans who all sounded as excited as we were. My boyfriend had previously visited Amsterdam a few years ago and since I'd never been, he recommended going for a walk in Vondelpark after I had enjoyed summer walks in Massachusetts so much, meaning I was bound to love Amsterdam too.

We had arrived at the AirBnB Aryia had booked for our stay in the city and had come up with plans of what to do – with me instantly mentioning the Anne Frank museum and walks along the canals. As Aryia had expected, I had also loved Vondelpark; so much in fact that it had become part of our daily routine to get up and go for a walk there to burn off breakfast and then eat out for lunch; Aryia calling it our "Daily morning gym sesh". We also contacted a photographer to snap a few photos of us spending time together in the park for his Instagram feed which were some of the most wholesome photos of our entire relationship.

Aryia had actually mentioned the idea to try out some of Amsterdam's parks when we arrived at the AirBnB, claiming that Vondelpark was pretty popular for how scenic it was. It became part of our daily routine to get up and go for a walk there as soon as we had finished breakfast - with Aryia calling it our "Daily Morning Gym Sesh" - and Aryia had contacted a photographer to snap a few photos of us spending time together in the park for his Instagram feed which were so wholesome and adorable that they were probably my new favorite pictures of Aryia. Though contrasted quite heavily to the ones he'd posted before we'd come to Europe.
