OCT 31ST 2018

Halloween havoc. Me and Xia Li have been having a few run ins lately and tonight we had a street fight match against each other to kick off the night. I was both nervous and excited about it, I had never competed in a street fight match so I had no idea what to expect, I knew the rules, which meant that I really had to work strategically, in order to win. Since it was Halloween my Gear was pretty extravagant but looked awesome so I couldn't complain, and neither could any officials since my gear had been cleared and deemed safe to wear since it was a costume. I was really proud of it and I was especially happy because Demi had helped me put it together, and it now had sentimental value to the both of us.

(Srry. Not my usual way of showing the gear. I've had no time to design any!!)

I was waiting for the show to start and I was beyond ready. Xia kept making accusations about me saying I was better than everyone, and I had grown tired of hearing her yap on about it. So I was going to show that no, I wasn't better than everyone, just better than her. It didn't take too long for me to be called out; Xia already waiting for my presence to arrive. I performed my usual intro, tossing my jacket to a crew member and standing before Jess, our ref, and Xia. As the match was declared and we were announced, I waved my hands in the air before framing my face with them, then stepping back so Xia could pose to her name.

We assumed our starting positions and waited for the three chimes of the bell. Immediately i circled the ring, making sure she  had no advantage whatsoever before engaging in an elbow-collar lock with her. We pushed back and forth for the advantage, to which I eventually powered her into the corner of the ring. I knew that there would be no time constraint so I made sure to inflict the most damage I could, placing a lot of pressure into her neck until she managed to kick me in my gut, sending  me into the centre of the ring. Her immediate reaction was to attack my most vulnerable ,my most fragile bones, which were obviously my ribs. She did everything in her power to attack my chest before rolling me up for a two count, my instincts telling me to get my shoulder into the air. Her disbelief allowed me to roll out of the ring and grab a kendo stick from under the ring. Xia's determination to attack me was her ultimate downfall, she sprung over the ropes in attempt to cross-body me, only to jump directly into the kendo stick, the crack of it overpowering the roar of the crowd. It didn't matter that she was outside of the ring, street fight rules, a pin counts anywhere, I hooked her leg into the air and just as Jess was about to count three, Xia lifted her arm into the ait, breaking the pin. I couldn't let her recover, I wouldn't. It wouldn't be long before she would gain the advantage again, so i reached under the ring again, and pulling out a table. I set it up as quick as I could, but it was too late. She jumped into my back, sending me into the table, my chest slamming into it with a lot of force. The burning sensation that rose in my ribs only got worse as her foot crashed into my chest multiple times.

I managed to get away for the moment and threw her into the barricade with as much force as I could, so I could compose myself for a moment. It hurt to breathe, there was a sharp pain penetrating my lungs, something was wrong, something bad, but as long as I was conscious, I was still in this match, and I wasn't going to loose. I slowly rose to my feet, climbing back into the ring and up the turnbuckle, pointing at her as she realised she was in jeopardy. I clutched my ribs as I leaped into her, letting go of them as my crossbody contacted with Li. The pain that my ribs were in was no laughing matter, it was excruciating, but I powered through and pinned her for a much needed win. I rolled off of Xia's body, the announcer declaring my win against her, but I couldn't move, much less stand to celebrate. All I could do was lay there, feeling my eyes fall heavy as people surrounded me and I blacked out.

I came to from a bright light shining in my eyes, a paramedic leaning over me. "she's responsive. Okay, My name is Malcom, do you know your name?" he said, lifting my slightly. I was still beside the ring. i whimpered my name, confused and feeling the pain in my chest return. "okay Sydney, we're gonna get you on a stretcher, is that okay?" Malcom asked, motioning for the stretcher to be brought down. I nodded, and he instructed me to cross my arms and keep my head straight. The moment I was lifted into the air the pain overtook everything inside of me and I couldn't hold back the yelp of pain as I was placed onto the stretcher, the medics moved quick to get me into the ambulance, before they could shut the doors though, demi leaped in with us. "ma'am you can't be here." Malcom said, trying to push her out, I stopped him by placing my hand on his arm. It hurt to talk, but I wanted her here, with me. "n-no, it's okay. She's a-a friend." I managed to huff out, he thought about it, and let her stay, and she held my hand all the way to the hospital. I didn't know what damage had been done, but I knew one thing for certain. This was the end...
