I woke up to Demi's head pressed into my chest and her arms around my waist, she was still asleep by the looks of it, but I knew she wouldn't get up at all if I left her to sleep. I gently shook her till she grumbled awake. "Demi-" "no..." I could tell that she was going to be difficult to work with today, but I knew why, she wasn't a drinker an last night she drank enough alcohol to give an elephant a hangover.
It took me a while, and a lot of convincing but she eventually rolled out of bed and jumped in the shower while I ordered coffee. She seemed to wake up and cheer up after showering and having some caffeine. She still wasn't 100% back to normal but I didn't expect that she was Going to be, but she was smiling a little more. Especially when she found Vegemite was being served in the breakfast buffet at the hotel. "that's disgusting." I said pulling my face at the spread that sat on the toast she was eating. "Have you ever even tried it?" She said, smiling at the look of disgust on my face. "I don't think I want to." My response was fast and it made her laugh. "Try it." "No" "come on! Dot Knock it till ya try it" she said handing me the plate. I was rightfully hesitant taking a bite of this concoction and I stuck by my words. It was disgusting. My reaction of gagging and spitting out the food was apparently hilarious according to demi. "Don't like it?" She chuckled "No! How can you willingly eat that?!" "'Cause it's good." She laughed, I just shook my head at her.
After we finished eating we headed back upstairs to our room to get changed into something comfy while we drive back.

I was faster than demi with packing my bag back up so I was just stood outside by the car, waiting for her. I was on my phone, stood by the driver's side door, when a tall man, with a big-ish build crept up behind me. "hello sweetness, you look lovely. Thought I'd accompany you." He said, his voice hoarse and his arm resting against my car. "I'm okay, I'm just waiting for a friend" I wanted to be polite but you could tell I was getting uncomfortable. "A friend huh? Is this friend a girl or a boy?" He said, smirking and raising his eyebrows at me; he placed his hand under my chin and forced me to look at him. "umm... A girl" I said shyly, trying to pull away from him. At this point my heart was pounding and it was obvious by my body language that I was terrified. "Oh really? I'm sure this friend wouldn't mind if I took you out, would she?" His smirk still hadn't left his face and it became apparent that he wasn't going to budge.
"I- I don't know. She's quite protective and I'm not really looking for a hook-up, sorry" I was still trying to be nice even though his intentions were clear. I hadn't realised that Demi was watching us, considering my back was to her. He placed his hand on my lower back and pulled me closer to him. "come on, you don't think you're asking for it in that outfit. Please, I'll be gentle" I began trying to push him away in a state of panic; I was pleading with him to let me go but his grip was strong. Too strong. Just when I thought he had gotten full advantage over me I felt a hand on my shoulder; looking down at the tattoo on it, I knew that she was stood behind me. His grip loosened and that gave me to opportunity to step back into demi; who had gone into full protection mode. She wrapped her arm around my front in a protective manor. "Do we have a problem here?" She asked, tapping on my shoulder twice to make sure I was okay in a nonverbal way. The guy began to smile "no. So, this is your friend.." he looked at me and I nodded. "She looks like a more than a friend" he added, then she cut in "because I am more than a friend. Look, I'm not in the mood for a nice conversation so if you please, fuck off" she shot him a fake smile and he scoffed. "god, you're quite bitchy huh." bad move. I felt her tense up and pull me to one side.
"No. I'm not bitchy. I just stood over there and watched you harass my girlfriend. And I caught it all on film, so unless you want the cops knocking on your door I suggest you turn around right now, because I can assure you... If this ends messily, you'll be worse off than me" he considered retaliating for a moment before tutting and turning around. The second he left she diverted her attention over to me. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you? What happened?" She asked and asked questions that I could answer but she wasn't giving me the chance to. "I'm okay. I'm not hurt. He just scared me. Thank you for jumping in" I said, once she stopped asking questions. Even though she was hung over less than an hour ago she has completely gotten over it. She wouldn't allow me to drive after my interaction and she made me sit in the passenger side, which I didn't really mind; the only reason why I would've driven was because Demi was hungover. Her hand rested around the back of my seat the entire drive home and she held my hand all the way to the apartment. Now we were home, Ami could go back to her apartment; I had asked her to take care of the dogs, and we were the only two in the house. I knew that my outfit drove her crazy; and to be 100% honest, her protectiveness earlier really turned me on. We hadn't had an interaction like this in a while, and now that it was just the two of us, we could do it.
No words needed to be exchanged by either of us, just a single kiss to her soft lips, was enough to set her off. She picked me up and threw me jacket to one side, immediately attacking my neck with kisses, my breathing now deep and full of lust. Her deep breaths matching mine as my shirt was discarded and she walked us toward the bedroom....
