The next morning Neteyam and y/n had barely talked exchanging a few words here and there, Y/n had slept near the water meanwhile Neteyam slept in the grass his back towards y/n as he ran his hand along the grass keeping his thoughts to himself.

He wanted to go back home but since y/n was so adamant about him staying he decided to do so, He didn't want to make her worry but at the same time, he did not want to make his parents Worry. He places a hand on his head placing a finger onto his Communication device whispering. "Mom, dad?"

A few moments of silence went by and Neytiri's voice could be heard and so could the sound of shuffling. He could only assume she was getting ready for bed. "Neteyam, where are you? You were supposed to be home hours ago. Your father is not happy"

As if in cue Jakes voice rang through neteyam's ears "Boy, you have to tell us where you are going! Did you forget we are in hiding from The sky people?" jake's voice tone was harsh and even though he wasn't there he could tell that his mother was doing what she usually does when trying to calm down his father. Neteyam did not speak and he takes a deep breath realizing his mother had done her job well.

"We will speak with you tomorrow my son, Sleep well wherever you are and you better have a good explanation."

Weeks went by since then  and y/n's 22nd birthday approached, Her family wished her a happy birthday as did the villagers. She didn't care much for her birthday as it reminded her that she no longer had her mother and father to wake her up on that day to remind her how loved she was, she was reminded how humans had taken over her old village and in made her people suffer before killing them all off.

Tuk had gone into the hut to give the girl a present, y/n had closed her eyes turning away from the young teenager with a smile, she felt as though tuk was her own younger sister. "Don't peak!" Tuk yelled as she grabbed y/n's hands placing something heavy into them. "Now open your eyes! It's something I made with the help of my grandmother" y/n opened her eyes to see a bow made with trees from the Forest Tuk calls home. The older woman smiled at the gift before hugging tuk, it was a beautiful gift and she loved it.

"My mother said you would love it, they say you are part forest Navi so I thought it would be perfect to prepare while we went home to our clan for some time." Y/n looks at tuk again before engulfing her in another hug. Tsireya had walked in with Lo'ak wishing y/n a happy birthday as well handing her a new top to wear around the village, to give her wardrobe a bit of variety. A small set of feathers were also placed on the side for accessories. Y/n set them aside thanking the couple for the gift before they set out to spend the morning together, tuk following close being her until annoying self. "If you don't let me tag along I'm telling mom you took dads gun for target practice!"

Y/n chuckled before leaving out of her hut to go for a swim, she wanted to be one of the first to welcome the Tulkun home and to see her spirit sister that was born from her mother's Tulkun. She had jumped into the water with a splash before using her arms and legs to help her swim to a safe distance from the Shore without her Ilu. Hours had gone by and Ao'nung was looking for his older cousin curious about where she had traveled to, he hadn't seen her for hours. "Mother, have you seen Y/n? I want to wish her a happy birthday."

Ronal turns her head from the Making of her Newest child's clothes looking at the ground in thought before turning back around towards her work trying to prepare it before the baby would come. "Today is the day that the Tulkun will come home from migration she may be waiting for them, Remember her spirit sister is pregnant with a babe and y/n is excited to meet her sister and to see her well-being, give it time she will return"

Another hour went by before horns were blown everyone ran out to the docks of the village jumping into the water the sully children staring off into the distance as y/n Is seen on top of her Tulkun's fin before she tosses her into the air letting out a noise of blissful glee. Neteyam smiled at the beautiful sight, The other Tulkun had never done it before so it was rare to see this. Tssireya was on her ilu letting everyone know that the Tulkun had come back, it was such a joyous occasion to those who have bonded.
