Ch 24

KIERA

As we won't shoot for few days, I thought to get into a calligraphy contest. I did some quotes and new designs and submitted them. The next few days went great. Me and Ian went on a few dates. We walked the lanes of Boston together. If something caught my eye I tried to click a photo of it while he clicked a photo of me. I was feeling fresh not burden because I was dating someone like I did before. We ate in many cafes. He seemed to take the spicy food in a great way. Usually people don't match up to my spice tolerance.

(one night)

I called him up to talk.

Kiera: Hey.. What are you doing?

Ian: I am reading a book. What about you?

Kiera: I am working on a design.

Ian: Aren't you tired?

Kiera: Nope.

Ian: If you're not sleepy should I come over?

Kiera: No then you'll be tired.

Ian: Do you even miss me? I miss you.

Kiera: I miss you too.

Ian: I have my keys ready. It will take me fifteen minutes to reach.

Kiera: Oh god.. You have work tomorrow.

Ian: Think it over. I am a great driver. I will be there in no time.

Kiera: Tempting much.

We both chuckled but we both knew he had to wake up to run a company tomorrow.

Ian: Bye then. Good night.

Kiera: Good night.

AVA

Ava was on her way to her office. It was a busy Boston work day. When the red light became green she hit the accelerator to go further. Suddenly a guy came running in front of her car and by shock fell down. Ava thought she had hit him and went to help him. The guy was trying to find his glasses.

Ava: Are you fine? You didn't get hurt right?

Guy: I am sorry, I didn't see the signal.

Ava found his glasses and gave it to him. Ava helped him get up and then got a look of his height. He was quite tall. Like a 6'3. You could tell he played for whatever college he was from.

Ava: Why did you suddenly run into the street?

Guy: um.. sorry..

The guy looked at Ava after wearing his glasses.

Guy: It's you..

Ava: What?

Guy: Oh you can't recognize me.

Ava: Listen give me your phone. Get a hospital check up done and then call me okay.

Guy: Oh okay.

Ava: I am in a bit of a hurry so I'll leave.

When Ava was leaving the guy had a hint of smile in his face. Not the cunning one like he was genuinely happy. Ava wondered if that guy would make a huge bill on the hospital and want her to pay.

CALEB

(Kiera and him on his car)

Caleb: It's Tuesday today. Are you okay to film? It might take a while.

Kiera: It's the anniversary of the school. So I have a day off.

Caleb: That's nice.

Kiera: What about your hand?
