KIERA

I had to train a newcomer today.

Kiera: Coffee is on right side. Milk tea is on left. And the bottled drinks are below.

Polly: Okay.. Good evening sir.

I looked at who she was greeting and wasn't delighted by that.

Caleb: Good evening.

Kiera: Polly, would you refill the hall with napkins and straws?

Polly: Yes.

She said yes but didn't move a bit. She kept staring at Caleb's face like he is a Mona Lisa or something.

Kiera: Polly??

Polly: Yes sorry, going.

Polly left and Caleb was fidgeting in his pocket. He took out the cafe's coupon.

Caleb: Coupon. I did it fair and square.

Kiera: Anyone asked?

Caleb: An Iced Americano.

Kiera: Please wait a moment, dear customer.

I took a cup filled it with ice and added two table spoon of cold water in it. The expresso machine was already on the works so I took one double-shot expresso from there. Mixed them all together and handed it to Caleb. I liked coffee but I judged the people who had iced americano as their order. I know you drink coffee to taste coffee more but no sugar is a bit extreme.

Caleb: I came to apologise.

Kiera: Nevermind. You didn't apologise that day, you don't need to apologise at all.

Caleb: I apologise for that day, the day before and everything else up to now. I didn't know it would hurt so much when you said you didn't like me. It made me angry to see you with Ian. I'm sorry, I was acting like a child and putting my feelings first.

Kiera: Did you eat something bad?

Caleb: No. I have an empty stomach. Let's go eat something.

I chuckled a laugh at his fast reply.

Kiera: I'm working.

Caleb: I'll wait.

Kiera: Then wait.

IAN

I was done with all of my work and it was already 9 pm. I always tried finishing the works before six but never got to that.

Ethan: Ian....

Ian: I'm still gonna go to the bar, Ethan.

Ethan: You knew what I was going to say?

Ian: You were going to tell me not to drink. Not to think about Kiera. Be safe while driving etc..

Ethan: If you know everything then try following it.

Ian: Change your ways..

Ethan: You change yourself. Till when are you gonna go to her just to listen a no?

Ian: I don't know either. I'm trying to figure a way out.

Ethan: There is no such way out. This situation is a loop. It should be thrown away.

Ian: Even if it's a loop. It's a nice loop.
