Kiera left awkwardly. I could understand as Blake comes of very intimidating. Not for me. I never cared. In my case, Blake talked to me first, so I never had that issue. Blake Cox, my former half-girlfriend and a very good friend. We met at a shoot in Paris. I was busy taking pictures of the scenery as said by the brand, she on the other hand was the brand ambassador of it. We have had a fair share of drunken nights and meaning less sex together. When people say friends with benefits always ends with one falling in love or both falling in love.. they are wrong, at least in our case. We remained friends throughout. She is like my counterpart. Exactly the same. Even our coffee choices.

Caleb: So what brings you to Boston?

I said while handing her a cup of Iced Americano.

Blake: Like Caleb Rivera decides to become commercial photographer.. That oughta stun me. But then the reason just went by. This is the Kiera you talked about.

Caleb: Yeah.. I wanna be with her.

Blake: Love her so much? Anyway, I will connect you with the Boston agency. There are many famous models around here. And New York is right around the corner. It's perfect for working as a commercial photographer on a large scale.

Caleb: Okay..

Blake: Hmm. Enough talk about work. As a friend, tu vas bien?

Caleb: Je vais très bien merci.

Blake: Putain d'enfer. Out of all times now you decide to learn it.

Caleb: How was it?

Blake: Great! I heard an airline wants to sponsor you. They even want you to take the picture they will use in their advertisement. Are you fine missing this opportunity?

Caleb: How do you know?

Blake: My ex before you became my ex told me. He knew you from the time in UK and he works on the marketing team there. Now you answer.

Caleb: Well.

I don't know if I will be fine, letting go of such a great opportunity. But if the cost is being apart from Kiera, I don't wanna be part of anything such. I don't want us to breakup. And she won't do long distance. So solution is me staying.

Caleb: I will be fine.

Blake: If that's your look of being fine, you will make Kiera uncomfortable. She will get to know your secret, even if you try to hide it eventually. Don't just sulk on it yourself, tell her about it.

RYAN

Ryan was calling Ava but it was going straight to voicemail. He kept wondering what did he do wrong this time. Kiera entered his restaurant, not with Caleb. Which was a change as now everywhere they went, they were always together, a sight Ryan didn't appreciate. But Kiera walked in sad and depressed.

Ryan: You came alone?

Kiera: Hmm.. Can I get a shot of tequila.

Ryan: Of course.

Ryan took out a bottle from a cupboard and a glass from another and poured Kiera her drink.

Ryan: Why do you look like everything died?

Kiera: Can a girl and guy be friends?

Ryan: As long as there is alcohol and night involved... they can't be just friends.

Kiera: Why? Why not? What if their friendship is solid? Do you think alcohol and night can break it all apart?

Ryan: See, a girl and guy can be 'just friends' in four ways. One, when one of them is gay and another is lesbian. Two, when both of them are interested in another people. Three, one of them likes the other but can't risk the friendship. Four, both of them are ugly.
