Ch 29

MAEVE, THEO, RYAN & AVA

Four of them went together to the child care facility. Their teacher was waiting for them. The child care facility was on a huge land. There was an inbuilt school and housing for the kids. It also included playground, cafeteria, library etc.

Teacher: Are you all well?

The four (in unison): Yes.

Ryan: I think you need to dye your hair. It's all white.

Ava punched him on the arm.

Ryan: I was joking.

Maeve: Have you been well sir?

Teacher: I have been fine. Isn't that Theo from high school? You guys should get married by now.

Maeve: Um..

Theo: I think it's a bit early for marriage. We're just going to keep on dating.

Teacher: It's not good to date for too long.

Ryan: This is weird. Do I hear not wedding bells from Theo's mouth? Maeve, What did you do to my friend?

Ava: I knowww. They seem different. He changed. Maeve changed.

Theo: Marriage is no good. It will be hard on Maeve. And I have three younger sisters.

Ava: Oh I forgot only. Marriage means husband and the in-laws.

A blue BMW x3 came in followed by a grey Rolls Royce Ghost. Caleb and Ian got out of their driving seat and had an eye to eye.

Ian: We meet again.

Caleb nodded him a yes. Kiera came out of her seat all stiffed up. She looked uncomfortable. She crossed Caleb without a slight change in her expression.

Caleb: Now what? You will stop saying hello to me too?

Kiera: Hello.

Caleb: Listen we ne--

Kiera: Hello, Mr. Watson. Have you been well?

Teacher: Of course.

Caleb opened the dickey of his car. It had six cartons of some stuff.

Caleb: Well, I know it's not much but in two days this is all I could arrange for. I have some school supplies for the kids.

Teacher: You didn't need to do this. Thank you so much. The kids will like it.

Maeve: Wow Caleb...... you look successful.

Ava: It feels nice to know you have some nice parts in you.

Ryan: Yeah, the answer is always money. You can only be cool if you have money. But you bought nice variety. The kids will like it.

While they were talking, a u haul truck entered the premises. Ethan came out of the driver's seat hurriedly.

Ethan: I am so sorry for being late. There was a ton shit of traffic.

He went to the back of the truck and opened it. It was filled with many cartons. It had at least a thousand of books.

Ryan: WHAT ARE THESE????

Ethan: CEO wanted to donate books on literature, children book, world history, and 250 must ready young adult fiction books. These are all of those.

Everyone looked at Kiera with a face telling 'you hit the jackpot'.

Ian: They're mostly refurbished so don't feel burdened by this. You are Kiera's teacher, I should help out where I can.
