(Before you begin reading I want you to know that from here is the second part of my book. It might not have equal chapters as the previous part but it surely is the phase two. I hope you enjoy this as things are about to take a wild turn.)

ONE MONTH LATER

KIERA

I was sitting at the living room waiting for the parcel to come. When the doorbell rang I quickly got up and answered it. It was the delivery guy. I took the package and sat beside mom and dad, who were busy watching TV. I opened the package and there it was my new iPhone.

Kiera: MY NEW PHONE!

Mom: Why did you buy this?

Kiera: My book is releasing this month this is like a present to myself.

Mom: Hmm..

I went back to admiring the phone. It was an iPhone 13. The latest edition. It had a beautiful grey monochrome going in the back. Subtle colors has always been a go for me.

Mom: You aren't dating anyone? All you do is work nowadays.

Kiera: Yeah I broke up.

Mom: With both of them?

Kiera: I broke up with one of them. The other I never dated.

Mom: The love letter he had written said he'd wait forever. Guess he got tired.

Kiera: I told him not to wait. WAIT.... You went through my stufff!!!

Mom: Don't tell me to clean your room from now. I come once in a month and that place looks like hell went through. You eat, sleep and work there. Why are the other rooms existing in this apartment?

Kiera: I will eat, sleep, work and die there, mom!! Don't read my stuff please.

I rushed back to my room. The letter. I didn't have the courage to open it when it came with my book which I forgot at the restaurant. Caleb took it apparently. In the letter he had written about some trip he was going to. That he'd come back anytime I called for him. That he wait for me forever and he meant it. All of this happened a month back and it was too late. He must have gotten over the delusion he had of loving me. I had the urge to call him a lot but I couldn't hurt myself anymore.

CALEB

For the last month I was roaming all across Massachusetts. I stayed in Everett for a week and then 3 days in Winthrop. Then Belmont , Melrose and Chelsea. I came back to Boston. I started clicking pictures of people. And honestly it was more fun than just landscapes. I was portraying emotions. People got happy when I clicked their photos. I never knew I could make people happy with my pictures. And that was the turning point. The days of not clicking people photos were gone. I wanted this change. But there was still no phone call from Kiera. It had been a month yet not a single time she thought of me. I felt lost

IAN

Ethan was walking through the corridor but not entering my office. After five minutes, he entered with a serious face.

Ethan: I've notified them about the calligraphy photo exhibition. I made sure that the gallery pay more attention to the calligraphy so that it wouldn't be biased towards the pictures, as you mentioned...

He was saying something but meaning something else.

Ian: What's the problem?

Ethan: I don't want to work with a foolish CEO.

Ian: Bring your resignation, I will process it right away.

Ethan: DUDE!! Are you that selfless to be doing this much for your ex girlfriend?
