CALEB

(doctor's clinic)

Doctor: Your left wrist ligament is overextended, so do not use the left hand. Do not drink or smoke for a while. If you do not manage to take care of it, the aftereffects will be big.

The doctor made me wear a wrist brace. It was just an added clothing which made me look like a biker driving a car. I sat on my car thinking how Kiera is doing now. Lot of my thoughts were occupied by just the same person. Kiera. My phone buzzed and it was the group text.

Ryan: Listen today is the 5-year anniversary of my restaurant. So if you all are free please come. Treat on me.

Ava: If I get free booze I'm there.

I didn't want company. Solitary was what I needed.

Caleb: I'm not going.

Maeve: I'll be there.

I kept my phone on mute and drove towards home.

Maeve & Theo

Maeve was walking towards Ryan's restaurant. Theo was entering from the opposite lane. They knew they needed to sort it out.

Maeve: Why aren't you losing this time?

Theo: It's not a matter of winning or losing right now. You know I'll do anything for you. Listen to anything you say. Lose everytime just to see you happy. If you are happy, I will never ask you about anything. Pretending I don't know, I'll smile like a fool just to see you smile. But that will be difficult for you. That's why I can't let it pass. I am not saying you to tell every detail of your life, I will never interfere in your personal space. I just want you to rely on me. Please.

Maeve: I'll be a lot of emotional baggage. It's too heavy.

Theo: I am more stronger than you think.

Maeve couldn't say no to him. He was right. She deserved to rely on to. Theo was more willing to be that.

Theo: I love you.

Maeve: I love you too.

Theo held Maeve's waist and pulled her towards him. Both of them kissed each after a long time. Things were heating up but they stopped due to an intruder.

Ava: Ohhkayyy... so I presume everything is good? I thought you guys had a fight. Based on what I saw... that didn't look like fighting.

They ignored Ava and went back to kissing. Theo showed a thumbs up to Ava.

Ava: I hate couples...

CALEB

Ava entered the restaurant and got shocked like I was a ghost.

Ava: What are you doing here?

Maeve and Theo followed after her.

Maeve: You here.. You said you wouldn't come.

Caleb: I had no work so I came.

Partly true. I did have no work to do but that's not why I came. This was the only chance for me to see Kiera.

Caleb: You all came.. where is Kiera?

Before Maeve could answer Kiera entered the restaurant. Her smile faded away when she saw me. I was wondering what was the reason for that. Then the reason walked behind her. Ian Scott. It was gonna be an awkward night. I don't know if it was intentional or not, Ian held Kiera's hand and walked towards our table. Theo sat next to me and Maeve next to his. Ava sat opposite Maeve and Kiera opposite Theo's. It was obvious Ian was going to sit opposite me.
