"Hey! What the fuck was that? You're the one that likes pigs, I don't..."
"Say that again, man, and you'll spend the rest of your life regretting it," Nate cuts the man off, balling his fist as if he's going to fight him. Maybe it'll still result in that, but it's not yet decided.
"So what? What the fuck will you do if I do that?" The man snarls angrily, pulling his girlfriend behind him, and facing Nate, ready to fight.
"If you're blind to settle for this ugly thing, you shouldn't complain when people talk..."
"And you think you're any better than her? Do you think your girlfriend is better than her?" Nate yells angrily, gritting his teeth afterward.
"Nate, you don't have to fight him. He's right, after all. I am ugly..."
"Look what my boyfriend was saying. She just fucking admitted it, what's with you? If you're going to be so embarrassed by her, then you shouldn't be hanging around with her in public," The young lady chips in, rolling her eyes.
"For how long are you going to keep enduring this bull shit? For how long do you plan to live like this, Lilian? Can't you fucking see that these people are bullying you? Can't you see that they're violating you?" He faces her and yells at her angrily. Even if he wanted to fight for her, on a second thought, he feels like there's no point in doing that. If he's able to fight for her today, what about some other days that she'll be bullied? Will he be there to fight for her again? Will he be there to support her? Will he be there to protect her, just like he's doing now?
"For as long as I live, and I am like this. Why do you think I was created like this if not to be bullied? They're all right. I am a fucking curse, and that is a fact that can never be denied!" She yells, venting out all her frustration as her tears finally find their way down her cheeks.
"They're going to bully me, anyway. Even if I try to run away from them, they're always going to fucking come after me. They will never stop..."
"Then you have to fucking make them stop. You're a human..."
"They don't see me as one..."
"For fuck's sake, Lilian, you're the one that never saw yourself as human. If you ever did, nobody would ever dare to treat you like this," He cuts her off in a high-pitched voice, not giving a damn about the people who now have their attention on the two of them.
"You've got to stop this shit you're doing, and brace up. They're going to continue like this if you don't fight for yourself. They're never going to stop doing this until they make you depressed, and you end up jumping down the tour, the cliff, or even hanging yourself. They're never going to stop until you make them stop!" He yells again, and she breaks down in tears.
"It hurts... It hurts..." She cries, burying her face in her palms as she stares down at her feet with tears in her eyes. It's not that it never occurred to her to do this, she has always wanted to fight for herself, but she never got the courage to.
"If you want all of them to treat you like a human, then you have to fucking treat yourself like one... If you want them to accept you for who you are, then you have to fucking accept yourself first," He further says, holding her shoulders firmly.
"I'm trying my best, Nate... I also don't want this to happen," She cries bitterly.
"Your best is not working, and you have to put in more effort. Can't you see it?" He says to her, pulling her into his arms afterward, while she cries on his chest, not minding that people are watching them.

"Are you OK?" Nate asks as he drives down the road, and she slowly nods her head, staring out through the window.
They successfully bought all the clothes she was going to need, but not at the mall they went to earlier.
"Hmm," She hums, not sparing him a glance.
"I'm sorry if that got you upset, I..."
"It's fine," She cuts him off, and he slowly nods his head.
The rest of the drive to her destination was full of silence. Arriving at the front of the gate about fifteen minutes later, she hops out of the car and waves to him before heading into the gate.
Stepping into the compound, her heart sinks into her stomach when she finds Ren's car parked at the garage. Without being told, she knows that she's in trouble. She should've come back earlier than this.
She strides to the entrance door and takes a deep breath before she pushes the door open.
Stepping into the living room, she stops abruptly as the deadly glare of Ren welcomes her.
"Where the hell are you coming from?" He fires at her, and she gulps own nothing nervously.
"I went to get some clothes at the mall," She replies to him, and he glares hard at her.
"Go get dressed. You're going to attend a business dinner date on my behalf," She raises her gaze to look at him in shock, as her mouth drops open.
"What's with that look? You're my secretary now," He says to her coldly, and she gulps down nothing nervously.
"This is your chance to prove yourself, and if you can't do a good job, forget resuming in the company next week," He says to her coldly, and she bites her bottom lip.
She sighs briefly. The last time she remembers, he was the one that told her earlier that she was going to resume next week, so why the fuck is he changing his mind now? What if she ends up messing things up over there?

"I've ordered the dress you'll be using later," He says to her before he walks away, and she sinks into the couch, burying her face in her palm...
