With a ringing doorbell, he gets up from bed, knowing too well who might be on at this hour, his phone showing its 11:30 pm, he opened the door without any delay
" What takes you so long to open this door," she asked with a little frown on her face

" Again with questions, what a warm welcome it is." she moved toward the couch, leaving the suitcase there
" No, that wasn't my intention, but can you explain what's happening before my mind explodes," he asked, moving towards the couch and sitting in front of him
" You did clean the apartment, though it still needs some more work, chamgadar," she said while scanning the surroundings
" ohh, hello chipkali, this is the best I can do by myself, I have been working on this since evening," he replied with a frown on his face
" Not bad, chamgadar, finally listening to me," she said with a smirk on her face
" I wasn't listening to you, or following your orders, I did it for this view," he said with a wink and eyeing her legs
" Like what you see," she asked him with a raised eyebrow while stretching her legs
" Very much," he replied while standing up from his seat
They both now stand up from their seats and cover the very little distance between them. She locks both of her hands to his neck and him just an inch away from capturing her lips
" we should move to the bed before anything happens," he said in a hoarse voice, heavy from breathing
"Do we need a bed?" she asked, still inches away from his lips and sound coming out in a whisper
" No, we don't necessarily need a bed, but I don't want to hear you complaining about not having working ac here," he said while taking a few steps back and breaking their contact
" You know, why I said that about ac," she said while coming towards him
" I do know for a fact, but I still think we should take this to bed," he said to her
" Fine, move my suitcase to the room then," she asked him as she was moving towards the room
" First of all, I am not your servant madam, secondly you still haven't told me about this suitcase," he said while taking the suitcase with him toward the room
" I am moving here until Akshara and Abhimanyu come back from their honeymoon (still cringing at his name), and before you start thinking with your little chamgadar brain, it's not the moving in you saw in movies and shows," she said while sitting on only chair present in the room
" I wasn't thinking anything like that chipkali, I am well aware of my boundaries here, but how did you convince your family," he asked while placing her suitcase next to his, hers is small compared to his
"I didn't tell them about me shacking up with you, but I have my talent for presenting my lie," she said with a teasing smile on her face
"For a fact, I am very aware of your talents," he said with a flirty smile on his face while moving toward the chair
"Well, good for you then," she said. Now, standing up from the chair
Then aarohi moved forward, throwing herself onto him and grabbing hold of his face firmly. The short stubble of his facial hair scratched against the palms of her hands as she pulled him towards her.

" and secondly, I thought it would be a nice surprise," she said while biting her lips now

Their lips meet with an urgent need, they both fighting for dominance, but Neil finds the right moment and shoves his tongue inside her mouth now, exploring her mouth with urgency, she doesn't want to give up yet, puts both of her yanking him away from her mouth gripping his hair, this was getting hot there, she said while breathing hard

They both return to the room, as he moves toward bed while putting on his boxers and her tugging down his clean t-shirt she just took from his clothes without asking him, he sat on the bed and gestures for her to come and sit next to him
"You took my only cleaned t-shirt left Here," he asked while putting a blanket on himself
" Should I take it off then," she asked sincerely as she was standing right beside him near the bed
" Nah it's fine, I will wear something else, and anyway it looks better on you," he said while checking her out genuinely speaking
" don't get habitual of this," she said while laying next to him inside the blanket
" I know about my boundaries, I am gonna sleep in the hall, you can take this bed," he said while grabbing the pillow from behind
She stopped him and said " you can stay here for a while "
"Okay," he said while laying down
She moved a little towards him and put her head on his chest, he was shocked by this, unable to react as she never does this before, he now navigating the still water as he put his hand nervously on her hair
" Is this okay," he asked while tapping his hand on her head
" it is " she replied without looking at him
" doesn't want to make cross any boundaries or anything, but why now?," he asked while playing with her hair ends nervously ( doesn't know, what could trigger her)
" what now? " She asked while lifting her head enough to look at his eyes
" why into this mild cuddling," he asked again walking onto eggshells around her
" because I felt like so" she replied now putting her head back onto his chest
" you are an enigma chipkali," he said with a chuckle
" yeah, I know that by now" She replied still lying on his chest
" you know, if we try hard enough, we can be friends," he asked again not knowing if this could trigger her
" Nah, I pass, becoming friends with you seems like a bad idea," she said sincerely
" Trust me it's not a bad idea, plus it's nice to have friends in life, you should try that sometimes," he said while playing with her hairs
" See this is why I said it's a bad idea, if you must know, I have lots of friends " she replied with an annoying sound
" I was kidding, I promise I will be a better friend than the rest of your friends," he said while emphasizing on word friends
" you are very annoying, I would rather have you as my enemy than a friend," she said
" I think that's not enemy supposed to do together," he said while moving his hand towards her shoulders
" then frenemy it is " she replied after thinking a while
" frenemy? , friends who are enemies" he asked while squeezing her shoulder with his hand
" friends in privacy and an enemy in public" she explained to him
" fine, meanwhile I am gonna prove to you how I can be better termed as a friend," he said Now massaging her shoulder blade with a hand
" I am already regretting making you friend in private," she said while rolling her eyes
" Don't worry senorita, I will try to behave in public, no promises there about privacy," he said with a chuckle
" Such a chamgadar thing to say," she said with a scoff
They both closed their eyes and drifted to a dreamless sleep in no time
