35. WRONG WAY

Vansh's pov:

As I planned earlier to sleep early, because need to work on new content for tomorrow, but my body has some other plans, I wasn't able to sleep today, I know the reason why that is, since had a party yesterday night, I have been sleeping the whole day, so it's natural for not be able to sleep early.
I was coming back from the kitchen, when I saw aaru, going towards the door, silently and when she was about to open the door, I had to stop her, so I went to her but before I could ask her anything she took my hand and drag me out of the main door of the house,  and ask me to let her go, as she will answer after coming back from wherever she is going, it was just a simple request, but how can I let her go that too alone and without telling me where she is going, I won't let anyone leave alone at 3:30 in the morning,  let alone my sister, who is literary sick, I mean the dining table incident is still fresh in my mind as our couch is still missing from her hall.
I Clearly said he her no, it is not happening on my watch,  but then she started pleading,  she folded her hands in front of me and was shaking, I was about to give them to her but I stayed firm until she asked me to let her go because he won't ever give her chance of listening, I know who he is in this, so she wants to go meet Neil at this hour,  God knows where, it frustrating more than anger or anything,  but how can miss those tears that made way on her eyes, ohh arru, my heart says, so I said her after wiping her tears that I won't ask questions but I can't let her go and drive, not in this condition when she shaking, and to my surprise, she didn't argue or anything just agreed to my request and handed over the keys of her car.

We are off to a park, situated in the middle of nowhere, I don't know why they were meeting there instead of somewhere else, and I didn't ask her, I noticed since we hop in the car, she is fidgeting with a loose thread of her sweats, and she is been doing that vigorously,  it is even irritating to watch at first, but when with fidgeting I noticed her legs are also shaking, means she is at the verge of an anxiety attack,  I know this because I read about this and even noticed all these with akshu too, so without delaying it further, I put my hands on her shoulder,  to pull her out of thoughts that were running on her mind that is making her anxious,  I nodded when she looked at me, letting her know with my eyes that,  it will be ok, she will be fine,  whatever is going on and about to go down, they will manage,  she is not alone, and somehow my messaged has convayed,  as she smiles a little sad sigh,  her shaking is under control too, so then I kept driving.

The whole ride aaru is silent, and I let her be, she prefers silence these days, it's something she never says but people around her notice that, Kairav is the first person who noticed that in her, she was always the quiet child of our house but these days she doesn't even bother to speak, just like she did a few minutes ago, putting the location on GPS rather than telling me.

We arrived at the location, and as soon as I stopped the car, aaru quickly unbuckle the seat belt and make an exit, nor that I wanted to say anything,  but I wish she would have told me something before going,  I didn't stop her, park the car and came out of it, just locate the Neil slumping on the bench, and aaru going towards him rather in slow pace,  because he wasn't far away from where I parked the car, I notice Neil isn't looking at her, although she is going towards him and close, Neil seems a little out of focus from the angle I am watching him, maybe he is drunk because as kind of get to know from Abhimanyu that he is been drinking almost every night these days, I low-key kinda worried for aaru if that was the case.

Aaru is now in front of Neil and I couldn't able to see his face now from where I was standing,  so start looking for his bike around, but I couldn't able to locate it nearby, maybe he parked it somewhere over the other side of the park, since it more entry gate than one, I noticed now they both were sitting on either side of the bench and having some serious conversation, I pulled out my phone to check the time, it says 4:20 am, it's close to sunrise here in Udaipur, it was the end of September so naturally, the weather gets chilly these days, especially early mornings and late night, I am regretting not wearing anything warm, it's when I notice Neil also didn't have anything warm on, and on the other hand aaru did have a sweatshirt on, she has always been a smart child of our house, looks like she knew it's going to be this cold out here. My smart baccha she is, I chuckle a little at that.
