6.TALK NOW

He is pacing in his cabin not stopping for the past fifteen minutes, he is been doing this for the past six days at this same time in the early evening, but today he decided to do something about it, he is not going to spend another day without knowing what wrong he has done, yet he still pacing in his cabin thinking about anything he has said or done wrong that day, it's been six days since that dinner at Goenka's house, from that day and to this day nothing changed but so much has changed, he always meets her at this time for almost three weeks but, this week she didn't leave him a message to meet her like she always does, Neil is not a very impatient guy but six days are enough to feel frustrated, now he is frustrated, he wants to know why she didn't message him, and he feels like she is been avoiding him, he messages her with a simple "?" Yesterday, she left him on seen too, Neil doesn't want to sound desperate or something, but he is desperate not only for sex but also not knowing what happened making him desperate and frustrated
He must do something now otherwise he is going to implode, why does this bothering him to this extent he doesn't know and didn't want to know, he thought to himself that because of the lack of any sexual activity, he is more cranky and bothered. With this thought, he leaves his cabin and walks towards the staff Cafe, where hospital staff spend their free time
He entered the Cafe and spotted his target, who without a care in the world playing with the rim of her coffee cup and scrolling her phone with her other hand, he thought about texting her that time but quickly dismissed the idea and start walking towards her but stopped in middle by other interns
"Hello Neil, come sit with us and have some coffee, you will like it, " asked one intern, she is also one of the five interns who work under Dr. Abhimanyu
" hello interns ' what's up these days, you guys must be very busy these days hardly seeing you all," Neil asked with a smile
" Hello Neil, come sit with us " ask Rohan one of the interns
"Okay" with that Neil sit with them as he knows it will be difficult to go from there to her table without raising any questions
" Why do you guys always eat after past lunchtime," Neil asked with curiosity
"Dr. Abhimanyu sir gives us break at this time only, so we are now habitual to having lunch this time, as we don'thaveother option working under best takes a lot these days" replied one of the interns named Divya

Neil thinks she doesn't go to bhabhi's cabin. So how she can be that active throughout the day, I had seen her having protein bars on various occasions but does that work enough, he is now looking at aarohi, suddenly she drinks the contents of her cup and stands up to leave the cafe, Neil mutter to himself it's now or never with this he said goodbyes to intern and walk out of Cafe
" Dr aarohi can I have a moment with you," Neil said loudly in the corridor
Aarohi turns back and walks towards him with a serious expression making Neil nervous
" what do you want chamgadar, I am off for work now before your brother makes the entry," she said with an angry tone
" I was wondering if we can talk chipkali," he said with a teasing smile
" Okay then talk now fast, I don't have much time," she said while checking out her wristwatch
" I can't talk here, can we go somewhere private," he asked nervously
" not now then, meet me after my shift ends at 8 pm" saying this she is off to her work leaving Neil there in his thoughts
" Okay chipkali, meet you at 8" he mutters to himself
He is at his cabin waiting for his watch to hit 8 pm so he can leave this cabin and talk to her about the past six days' behavior of hers, it's 7:30 pm now and he has done all his work for the day and now ready to leave his cabin suddenly his phone rings
, his brother is calling him, without any delay he picked up his brother's call
"Hello bro what's up ?" Asked Neil with a smile on his face
" Where are you Neil, you should be here at home by now," asked Abhimanyu impatiently
" I'm at the hospital bro, will be there in an hour or so" Neil replied politely
" no, not in an hour, leave now, tonight me and akshu leaving for Our honeymoon, so come home now, have dinner with us and then drop us at the airport, come soon " with this Abhimanyu cuts his phone
Neil puts his phone on the table in frustration and thinks, I can't say no to bhai now, that is important so is talking to her, but brother is a priority so I should text her, with that he messaged her " I have to go home for some urgent work, can we talk tomorrow "
He immediately gets the reply (which is rare)
" meet me before my shift tomorrow at 7:30 am"
Neil thought I waited six days what's 12 hours more with that he left the office
Later late at night, he puts an alarm so he can get up early and makes it on time to have that talk with her while laying on his bed he thought what I gonna talk to her about, maybe about did she misses him or misses sex with me, or why it looks like she is avoiding me, or maybe asked her what did I do wrong with thoughts like these he fell asleep
With a ringing alarm, his sleep broke, and immediately came out of bed and followed his morning routine before heading to the hospital at 7 am, too early for him. He is patiently waiting for hers to arrive, now it's past 7:30 and he is still waiting for her, but there is no sign of her, he thought about calling her but didn't make that call because he doesn't know how she will react, so he keeps waiting, now it's past 8 she is now late for her shift, he was still waiting for her at reception, now seeing her walking past the main gates and coming toward the reception area, after signing the register she moves towards the locker room for staff without acknowledging his presence, making him angry
He followed her to the locker room where she is going to changing room with scrubs in her hand, he called out her
" oye chipkali, where were you, I was waiting for you for the past 1 hour," he asked a little louder than he intended
" shh, come here, there could be other staff working here" she replied and waited for him to come close, as Neil closes the distance she pulls him inside the changing room making him confused
. She closes the door with him very close to her as the space is small
" Now speak, but not loud " she ordered him while giving him the scrubs she is holding
" Where were you chipkali, I was waiting for you like an idiot there for the past hour," he asked almost in a whisper
She started removing her top and put it on a hook which is hooked to the door of the room
" I was dropping vansh bhaiya at the airport, he has a morning flight today" she replied without looking at him as she is working on the button of her jeans
Neil is now nervous, holding the scrubs of a girl who is just removing clothes in front of him, and the distance between them is very very small, yet her words make him angry
" you could have informed me that, you know that just like I did yesterday "
" yeah I could have, but I choose not to," she said with a teasing smile on her face and now undoing her jeans by sliding them down her legs, an action making Neil very much uncomfortable there, but he can't even leave
" why " he almost growled with anger
" Because I thought you wouldn't be up this early, Vansh Bhaiya told me yesterday that he would have told you to drop him but you never be awake this early," she said Now standing only in her undergarments
" but I was up early today," he said hiding the blush now creeping down his neck, the whole situation is making him very uncomfortable
" Okay now talk then, for the you even got up early and are so angry about it," she said while taking clothes from his hand and starting wearing it
" We can't talk here, it's not very comfortable " Neil finally said putting his hands inside the pockets of his jeans
" Alright, then talk to you later, I am already late," she said still putting her bottom on
"On your break," Neil asked in an almost whisper
" can't be possible, today I have a lot of work since my senior is off on vacation," she said while putting her top of scrub on
" ohh then when you get off shift, we can talk after that," Neil asked while staring at her breasts
" I don't know when I will be free today," said aarohi finally putting her scrub on and noticing his eyes
" ahem eyes up here," she said with a teasing smile while tying her hair in a bun now, which made him gulp his saliva
" I have to go to vansh studio in the evening and I will be there," he asked while raising his eyebrows
" Okay, fine I will be there after work," she said finally putting a surgical cap on her bun and head
" shall we go now," She asked him while collecting her clothes from the hook
" Nah let me enjoy a few min here, I don't know when I can be inside a woman changing room again," he said with a wink now
" idiot, such a chamgadar move," she said with an eye roll
Now she opened the door and made an exit without looking back and went off to her work
Meanwhile, Neil sighed and finally took a long breathes which he didn't know he was holding till now
