45 . DEADLINE

DAY 9:

Aarohi always liked how easily she can get up, no matter how late or how little she gets her sleep, as far as she remembers she woke up at the beep of her alarm, her brother even tease her for that, like the only person who obeys alarm at its best, but she always liked this, until today she hates waking up early today as she was safely sleeping onto this warm body of Neil's, who is actually on his stomach, it looked funny if you saw that, like how can someone sleep on their stomach all night and on top of that taking her half body of top of him, guess skin to skin warmth is comfortable as they both kinda refuge to put clothes after their activities of last night on the floor, a smile cross on aarohi's lips thinking about that.

Locating his t-shirt, Aarohi wears it and is now fully up, Neil is still in deep sleep as aarohi gets up to the balcony, it's again the same weather as yesterday, about to heavy rain as the weather is cold now, aarohi thought about wearing something warmer but she doesn't want to remove his t-shirt it's comfy and smell like him, she feels save around this smell, yet to figure out why so against her better judgment she kept on wearing a simple t-shirt of his, as she noted how the ask tray is full meaning Neil did have a lot of cigarettes yesterday, while she was not here, aarohi heart pained a little thinking about his condition, she went inside to get a cigarette for herself, as she needs to think now, it's her time to think about what she should be doing next.

After spending an hour on the balcony smoking in between, Aarohi finally decided she will tell him about her marriage decision, he will be hurt or upset and she is ready to face his anger, this is how it should end, the long-awaited fight, its inevitable and dreadful but only acceptable response of his, she would have reacted the same, hell she did as she remembers how angry she was when on her marriage day that drama happened at the temple, but she doesn't want to think about that, it's an old tale today it's a different scenario, as soon Neil wakes up she will tell him, then it's up to him if he wanted to stay the last two days with her and how he wants them or not to stay with her at all

She was so lost in thoughts that she didn't notice she was in the cold for an hour and shivering, her chain of thoughts break when she faintly heard her name, so she concentrated a little when she heard it again, it is Neil's voice calling her, meaning he is up, it's time to tell him, getting inside the room she saw Neil sitting up on the edge of the bed, still look sleepy and only in boxers, the room is warmer due to radiator keep on working.

"Hey, you finally up," said aarohi moving to him, in very small steps as she is shivering
"Why you were outside, with hardly any clothes, you are shivering, "said Neil worriedly as she is coming near him
"Yeah, I lost in thoughts, can we talk right now?" Asked aarohi as she is now 2 steps away from him
"We can talk later, right now come here your face is getting blue, and your lips are trembling," said Neil before stretching his hand to grab her by her waist

"No, we have to talk right now Neil" her voice is cut off as Neil pulls her onto the bed and just settles her beside him as he engulfs her after putting her inside the blanket, her face is into his chest as his body and blanket giving her the much-required warmth, she is now unable to speak
"Thanks " she mutters in a low voice as she hides into him more as if there is any space left between them, both drifted to sleep after some time.

"Hey sleepyhead, finally you up ? " said Neil As aarohi walk towards the kitchen as soon she woke up from her sleep
"Yeah, seems like it's raining after all, how long have I been sleeping," said aarohi still a little sleepy
"Not too long come here, I made us something, initially I was planning to make something else but it's late so our brunch it is," said Neil putting something in the bowl
"What it is, the aroma is intoxicating," said aarohi moving towards him
"First go brush your teeth you stinky girl, then I will serve it to you," said Neil brushing her hands off with a chuckle to follow
"Mean chamgadar," said aarohi before leaving the kitchen to which Neil couldn't help but laugh a little louder
